aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

OOC- I was SOOOO confused when you talked about Leila’s color. I felt horrible and thought that I had referenced her coat color incorrectly and scanned my post multiple times. And then realized you were talking about the picture whoops! I like it!

As he lowered his maw toward the water, his gaze forever upon the fae, he watched her tongue lap up some of the cold, refreshing water and realized again, not only how hot he had become from the chase, but how dry his throat was. And so, carefully, he opened his maw and lapped at the water himself. His drink, however, was a short one, for the fae jerked her head upward and her paw whipped at him, splashing him in the face with a cold wave of the water. It certainly cooled him down, but it was a painful jolt to his system. The fae then leapt backward, away from the water’s edge, with a huge grin upon her face. She clearly was expecting him to retaliate in full force. As Kal frantically shook his cranium, trying to remove the stinging water from his orbs and from inside his audettes, the brute shot a searing look at the fae, showing his irritation caused by his reddening orbs. His icy gaze saw naught but an enlarged grin plastered to the fae’s kissers.

She was the ever playful wolf, finding fun in all circumstances which presented themselves to her. And that was why Kalgalath so dearly enjoyed her company. He had lived so long on his own, as an adult, no less, that had forgotten the meaning of play. He had forgotten how to have fun. Travelling on his own, his one goal had been to survive. Sure, he had to find food and had been searching for a place to live, but his one true goal had been to survive. There had not been time for fun on that regime. But as the pearls of water droplets flew off of his cranium, an idea planted itself into his mind. A water fight she had started… a playful game she wanted? Well that was exactly what she was going to get. Kal’s irritated gaze turned to a mischievous one, a gleam in his icy eyes apparent just before he turned away from the fae.

The brute ran headlong into the icy lake water, the waves lapping at his coat. The liquid seeping into the various layers of his fur, saturating it. After dunking under the water’s surface quickly, the brute leapt out of the water, his muscled haunches launching him full-long toward the fae. His intention? Knock the fae over onto the soft silt of the shore, and soak her completely. As soon as he was within leaping range, the brute pushed off with his hind limbs toward the fae. A large grin planted itself upon his face. Even should he miss, his jump would put him close enough to her to soak her by shaking himself. When they had first met, down at Staircase Falls, he had moved far away from her before shaking off his coat, in order to not dampen the fae. However, it was now his intention to get her as wet as he could. It was a warm enough day that it would not give her the chills, once she got past the initial shock as he had.
