HERE I AM,
I move with all the ease of a carefree dandelion seed floating on the spring time breeze. I have been finding though that my mind continues to flit back to that one guy I met when dancing along the rim of the crater. I grin, remembering that one time I caused panic through the buffalo herd, making them harm one of their own so that I could rush in and strike the death blow. Sometimes, I swear, I am a very smart wolf. I have my blonde moments, but I suppose that comes with the tan streak along my sides. My mommy always told me tan was a dumb color, but I do not think so. I like to think it made me more interesting to look at. But, I don't really like to talk about myself this much, I do like the way my green eyes are rimmed in white around my pupils, and the soft black of my base coat. I also like the random white paw and my fox-like tail tip. Anyway, like I said, I do not like going on about myself, and so I won't. I was roaming the eastern side of the crater, where I am usually found staying now. I wonder where that white guy is, that Tairra guy. I miss him, even though he was rather serious and definitely hampered my flitting and floating carefree lifestyle. But, anyways, here I am walking along when suddenly...I see a tan guy roaming too! He has white on him too, but so far, the only black I see is on his nose. I wave my tail, letting out a sharp barking yip. I basically bounce all the way over to him, noting his seemingly bad mood, but not really caring about that because I can always try to make anyone happy. I am particularly good at turning frowns upside down. I like doing it, I get happy when I make wolves happy. I think that maybe it is my job here on earth. I send a green, knowing gaze skyward, smiling broadly as I make my way over. "I am on to you, Goddess. Good plan." I say smiling. But, then...when I look back at the blonde guy, he is seeming more pleased with his surrounding and all the wind is knocked from my sails. Man...I hate when that happens, but I am glad he is at least feeling better. I let a smaller smile fill my face, the wind blowing up my longish fur and thus bringing my lavender scent to his nose. I wave my white tipped tail, the tan and black contrasting brightly in the sun. "Hi there! You look much better than you did a second ago. I am Akri, who are you? Do you know who you are? I thought I knew who I am like, a few seconds ago, but now I am not so sure. I thought I was a joy bringer, but I am apparently not...I was gonna make you smile, but I don't think that if you smiled now it would be like, my fault completely, would it? Oh. My. Goodness. I am talking your ear off, I am soooo sorry. I will hush now." I shut my maw, sitting quickly and fidgeting my paws until I am comfortable. I look expectantly at him, joy reflecting in emerald eyes. My tail thumps as I wrap it around my paws. I am openly gazing at him, dark green and white eyes boring into his own bright teal windows. He is pretty, I have to give him that much, I just hope I haven't annoyed him already. |
