During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

There were no words to describe how he made her feel. It seemed that this chance meeting had turned into something else, something dangerous and painful yet pleasant. Genisys had arrived simply thinking about starting anew and here she was, her heart racing furiously as this knight stood before her. She was watching him, not as intensely as before but still watching. His frame was so strong, he seemed to shout comfort. It pained her to see how elegant he truly was. He could have any femme, any at all. Genisys could not compare. The once strong female that did not need love now needed it, craved it, craved him. Her heart ached for his love and her body ached for just one touch. Still she had pulled away out of fear. He had noticed. His sharp gaze sending a shiver down her spine. So he hadn't wanted it. She had been correct, yet again. As he inhaled, she flattened her ears against her cranium again. She was nervous, scared of rejection. It was ridiculous how pathetic she was acting. Silently, she sniffed herself. She smelled fine really, like earth and well, wolf. Furrowing her brows, she perked her ears and looked into his eyes, questions rising to the surface but remaining locked down.

How she loved when he spoke her name. Strangely, she felt special when it came from his jaws. She felt like her name was sacred, unique just because he spoke it. He had complete control over her and he didn't even know it. A small part of her hated how much she was bending to his will but the rest of her didn't care anymore. She wanted him to be hers, she wanted to claim him as her mate, her knight. She knew though, that he didn't want her. He was speaking still and Genisys had to part from her selfish thoughts to blink and raise her head in surprise. Had she heard that right? A hunting partner? It was a step in the right direction but then again, he possibly just wanted to hunt with someone. It just so happened that Genisys was here. Her small sliver of hope was once again crushed and she attempted to fake a smile. Of course she was an able hunter, she was fit for those years of hunting alone. She knew their weak spots. Strangely enough, she was just now fining her weak spot, it was Aindreas. "I would love to go hunting with you.." More quiet words. When was her voice going to go back to being normal? That fake smile was plastered on her pale kissers. She felt like it looked awkward, it sure felt awkward.

Her name was spoken again and another set of chills rushed through her thick snowy pelt. She glanced up at him through her eyelashes, that smile faltering. Should she tell him? Finally just come out and say it? He was speaking again and she shook her head, placing her gaze back on the ground with a sigh. He was so oblivious. She wasn't worried that Serris would be here, she was worried that she would be alone. She clenched her jaws, holding in a scream. A flood of tear seemed to rush to her pools and she blinked, pushing the emotions back. He didn't know, or he did and he didn't care. Swallowing thickly, she raises her head to look at him. " I am fine. Thank you," Her words were robotic and she silenced, unable to speak again for the fear of falling into the dismay that swarmed around her. He couldn't see her like this, broken, wounded. It wasn't how she wanted him to remember her. She was still looking at him, in his eyes, searching for some small sign. It never came.

She coughed, "Do we have to wait for Serris before we go for a hunt? I could go for a meal." She offered a small smile, hoping that the hunt will take away some of the sadness. She was hungry after all.
