Self Awareness: How would other packs steal you? What does your name mean, how could they pick you out of a crowd, etc.?
My name is Persephone. This means "to destroy" and "murder". In Greek Mythology, my namesake is the daughter of Zeus and Demeter, wife of Hades, and the queen of the Underworld. She is known for representing the seasons, because when she was with her mother it made her mother happy and the seasons were Spring and Summer, and when she was bound to the Underworld her mother missed her and the world became cold and snowy. Supposedly, she also represents the more enjoyable aspects of the afterlife.
Other names Persephone goes by are Kore ("the maiden"), Despoina ("the mistress"), Hagne ("pure"), Melindia ("honey"), Melivia, Melitodes, Aristi cthonia, Neotera ("the younger"). When paired with her mother, they are referred to as The Thesmophoroi ("the legislators") and Karpophoroi ("the bringers of fruit").
The use of my name to steal me could involve any of these other names, as well as references to Hermes and Apollo who had tried to woo Persephone and were rejected by her mother. They could also refer to Zeus going behind Demeter's back and allowing Hades to take Persephone, then later demanding her return as the world fell barren because of Demeter's grief.
They could refer to any of my father's legacies, being a Dragon King and a bear killer and the fact that he perished when Old Moladion was lost. His name, Bahamut, was altered from the word 'behemoth' and in Arabic mythology he is the giant fish that creates one of the many layers of the world. They could refer to my mother by the fact that she is one of the oldest wolves in New Moladion and a mother to many, as well as the fact that she is blind in both eyes. Her name is Jaye, ... My older sister, Dusk, might be mentioned as she and her mate, Sulan, used to be the alphas of my home. They may mention Dude, the Seer, as he is my adoptive father and my mother's Imprint. They may also mention Leviathan, as she is my sister and when we were very small, my mother had to leave her behind when she saved me. On that note, my two deceased littermates might also be of note for any potential thieves digging for obscurities.
Of course, they could also mention you, Weylin, as you are my older-than-me nephew and the current king here. But we'll talk more about you in a moment, won't we?
As for things of note about my appearance, I suppose that I am particularly leggy for a wolf - I am tall and thin as I have been told my father was and I am built to be a runner. My coat is all together dark, a blanket of black over umber. My eyes are of particular interest, as they are bright white with a ring of my mother's green around them, and I can only see out of one of them.
How about me? What would be the clues having to do with my name, what I am, who I am, how I am?
Given our relation, many of the same references to family could be made, such as my father (your grandfather) and my mother (your grandmother). One might mention your brothers and how most of them have fallen. They might also mention how you handed the land over to your aunt and her mate, and then fought to take it back. Let's not forget your angry Nanruan blood.
Your name is a Celtic one that means 'Son of the Wolf' ... which certainly makes your name an oxymoron of sorts. It could also be a varient of the German name Wieland. In mythology, Wieland was a legendary master blacksmith. The name was a combination of words meaning 'skill' and 'land'.
Appearance-wise, your coat isn't any abnormal color. Though they aren't quite as abstract as my own, the white could certainly be referenced as being similar to platinum or the moon or even spectral.
And Glorall, what ideas could they use to identify Glorall within the steal?
I believe that making direct references to any of the lands would be pretty obvious, since they are all very different. Glorall touches the ocean. We walk on sand, we smell of wind and salt and brine, we are sprayed by seafoam and washed by waves. Inland we have rivers, streams, and waterfalls. We must be a very soggy people. Refering to our pack, in particular, you might see all sorts of pirate terms or references to typical 'pirate' activities, such as sailing, looting, pillaging, etc.
