Darketh grinned. Ever since he had set paw in the Blossom Forest, he had been smiling more and more. Darketh used to never smile, or laugh. He was afraid that he had almost forgotten what happiness even was. Ever since that fateful autumn, when his world seemed to shatter apart� but he put that behind him now. In the Blossom Forest, in the Spring Grounds pack, he was starting fresh, he was starting new.

"Oak! I love that name! They're my favorite type of tree!" Darketh jubilantly said. Augh! I've never been this close to such a pretty gal before! He thought anxiously. "So, um�" he turned his cranium and swiveled his pools left and right. Two sun baked boulders were to his right. They were soft and covered in warm lichen. Even though this day was hot, Darketh still liked the warm feeling of hot stone against his belly. "Wanna sit over there?" Darketh asked Oak. "I can take that boulder and you can take this one." He said. He trotted over to the larger boulder and scrambled up its rocky side.
