News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

Well, Azrael had lost his mind. That much was apparent and so had Heyel but hey, where was the surprise in that? Micteca took up all his time and it was absolutely, horrendously and arguably the most obnoxious thing in the world. Iromar had taken her and suddenly everybody cared but hey, Fathom and Malina had found a demon - where was their attention? Whatever, let them go get Micteca and waste their valuable resources on the little rat. Yes, she would need to meet with Ava again to discuss their little issue... Micteca was learning something special and did Malina appreciate that? Hell to the no. She was the Dark Angel, the Leader of the Assassins, not Micteca so why did it get to learn? Laughable. Hilarious. Infuriating.

It was enough to make her storm about, a flurry of black fur and snapping teeth - everybody was lucky they had stayed out of her way. EVERYBODY. She would have torn Heyel apart, she would have torn even Lucid apart and goddamn, she would have downright eaten Micteca alive if she could have. Instead, she was forced to jog around the borders in her usual 'try to be less moody' routine; if she encountered an intruder, well that'd be nice otherwise she would simply continue running until she grew too tired to be mad. Sure, it probably was not the best way to go about things but, well, Malina was pretty much a loner besides from her pack affiliation. Friends were few and far between and even then, she was too emotionally incapable to express her own issues concisely. And who would even understand? Ava was the closest she had gotten to having some kind of mutual understanding and even then, they usually only bonded over their disdain for Khalwhatever and Micteca (and their fear of imprinting). Fathom was quiet, a fantastic listener, but sometimes Malina really just needed somebody to be as angry as she was.

It seemed like Heaven, or rather Hell really, had answered that - maybe not the angry but the somebody for when she lifted her gaze up from her paws, she caught the form of Magnus. She paused but for a moment to assess her and check their surroundings - she sniffed the wind, content with finding no other scents. So, she had come after all? And alone too! Oh, that was good! Despite her disdain at that point in time, she was somewhat glad to have been given the opportunity she had been waiting for. With a huff, she once more began to lope forward, her tail rising to its appropriate rank and waving behind her - hell, there was even a tiny half smile on her features though she still bristled over everything prior. Hah, while Azrael was off being dumb and Micteca was off being even dumber, she was making real progress.

"Magnus, you came," she barked, moving into a wide circle around her companion as she inhaled her scent - she screwed up her nose, snorting lightly at the smell of stagnant blood. For the most part, it appeared to be prey blood so, well, that was good but still... "You smell worst for wear. Care to come in? Trust me, I'm not going to take you hostage or anything; I promised a one on one chat so I'm here to collect."

Malina may have had an insatiable urge to kill each and every Demon but recently, it had changed somewhat into a curiosity. With Heyel's secrecy keeping the true Demons shrouded in mystery, it seemed like it was entirely up to her to work out their minds (and potentially help them!) but more importantly... she liked Magnus for what it was worth. She found her quite endearing and more fascinating than most; even her presence quelled the raging creature inside Malina. Still, it would have been nice to dismember Micteca and take Heyel's other ear.

With another circular movement, she allowed her tail to brush along Magnus, marking her as a Diveen wolf even it were temporary - it would at least give her some form of diplomatic immunity inside or outside of the pack. Then, with a on-the-dime pivot, she turned to face her, stepping aside and making a sweeping motion with her muzzle - a signal for her to come over the border and into the thickets and ravine that was Diveen. Honestly, it must have been at least thirty times better than the swamps and whatnot of Iromar - urgh, not to mention the inhabitants! Big pigheaded Baphomet; incestuous siblings and crazy, mindless beasts. No-ho-ho thank you!

"You seem... off. Your body language is different to what I am used to and I am curious as to whether or not you are... doing okay?"

She sighed lightly, her brows rising up in question and ears perking up - well, that was a sign of good intentions, right? Right? Being kind? Yeah, surely Malina was doing it right.
