Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Leviathan is quite the fragile-built female indeed. There is no mistaking that she is one who would prefer flight to fight in any case. She is built differently, too, considering the longer tail than normal and how her neck seems to have a few extra vertebrae. She looks like a creature of stylized make rather than true wolf blood and with the strange formation of her body - the one that allows her the double suspension gallop - she might have looked more formidable if standing on a plain. The wide open spaces are hers to consume with great leaps and intense speed. She could eat up the ground if only she had the chance to stretch out and run as she was meant to. But alas, forest and rock let Alana see the weakness - or perhaps not alas, as she speaks and it is not in such a way that would imply mistrust.

Theres just a little tilt left in Leviathan's head when Alana moved away from the cave and Leviathan can settles with a sigh of relief. Bears, cougars, badgers, wolverines, cannibal wolves... And Dorothy had been scared of her so called enchanted forest. She nods to Alana as she is thanked, stepping back and to one side to imply the girl ought come down where it was safer. She notes the lack of fear and part of her that is of the Dragon bloodline laughs. It truly was a good thing that this girl had been found by herself rather than others who seemed cloyingly friendly at first. Demons and Angels and Dragons, all had their evil sides. It is simply lucky that says Leviathan's bad side was more that she believed in flight over fight when the situation arose to think of such things. A coward? Mostly, but it was how she has survived.

When you have no fear as Alana seems to feel in regards to Leviathan, it does seem to make conversation easier. The last girl, Elowen, had been most closed up about her exploits and had been far more mistrusting. She finds that she likes the soft color and easy-to-look-at features of this female, just as she had admired the simple coloration that layerd across Elowen. It was a pleasant difference that she found between the two - even if they both had eyed her as most others of Moladion did. It was not something new, for the older she grew, the more sleek and lovely she became - or so said her mother. Jaye, eldest living relation and a part of the Dragon bloodline through mating with the Dragonborn Bahamut.

Having listened to the nature of her companions state of living, that being alone, she feels her eyes tighten with empathy. She remembered how it had felt when Selene had gone off to hunt while she remained behind -- it was not a pleasant thing, to be alone. She nods when Alana confesses to being tired of her loneliness, her smile a faded one of Leviathan's own. Leviathan finds she likes the honesty of it - that she likes how easily she has settled into conversation when she was not used to talking to stranger without Selene or Ravan to interrupt. "Well!" She exclaims, trying to keep the lightness in their interaction after seeing tension return. "I should think you must be hungry. My pack is at a hunt as we speak - some sort of great beast from the sea. Would you like to come with me? It might be frightening at first, I will not pretend with you. My alpha is of wild birth and only half a part of this land. His other bloodline is of a savage people. He is not safe, what wild wolf is after a hunt, but he is good - and we welcome any newcomer looking for family to our table." She ponders a second, looking back towards the sea. "And I know of a wolf who would keep you from harm... He has a strange, well, infatuation with me that could prove to get us a right delicious spot for the feeding!"
