Zloy playfully jumped around in the evening air, chasing the firey glow of the countless lightningbugs that filled the stoney area. He was jumping very high, probally because of his very muscular frame. The sun was just beginning to set and boy, was it beautiful. A mixture of mango and daffodils, beets, and deep indigo were the only words that could describe the glorious sky. Zloy paused for a moment, feeling the hard, almost hay-like, dry, brown grass against his dark pink pads, and the damp, slick feeling of weathered rock. The air seemed to sing around him. But a scent broke and corrupted the air around the white, gray, and brown brute. The metalic smell of blood. Zloy flattened his dark gray and white flutes against his tawny-and-gray forehead and whimpered. He swiveled his amber pools towards the entrance of the ominous Cavern of Secrets. A vaguely familiar white coat caught his eye. Zloy stood up a bit too quickly. Once the dizziness vanished, he ran towards the white pelt.

The strong scent of blood and of a brute made him skid to a stop. Zloy accidentally bumped into the brute. "Oh! I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else." Zloy barked and smiled apologetically. "My name's Zloy, by the way." He added. Zloy got to his pistons and trotted around the hessian into the entrance. He stopped with half of his body in and half of his body out. Zloy wrinkled his nose in disgust. Blood. Why is it always blood? He rolled his amber orbs and turned his cranium to the white brute.

"So� what's your name? And tell me, why do I scent blood in the air?" Zloy asked respectively and smiled warmly.
