The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

He nodded briskly as he held up his head, tasting the still dank air for something that he was sure wasn’t going to come. He smiled as he explained that they would be walking into the cavern and it might be a tad bit low. He didn’t think anything of it at the moment, but when he heard the fae stifle a chuckle, he began to think. After a few moments of pondering, he realized why she was laughing; of course he would need to duck so his cranium didn’t graze the top of the cave, but he was so big. A lupine of smaller volume would have no trouble walking into the cavern. He smiled and turned away, understanding in a new light the perspective of things based on one’s size. He began to walk forward deeper into the system of cavern chains and chanced a glance back at his friend in the making. Her auds were barely even touching the height of the low walls, while for him the wall would eventually provide a terrible shoulder ache. Sometimes he wondered why being so big could be a benefit. The mud underneath his pads separated and molded around his paw, leaving a perfect footprint in his wake, though he was sure not many wolves would be able to find it, unless they were looking for it.

Soon enough, the ceiling of the inner cavern started to lift, and eventually broke out into a huge cavern underground; sounds echoed for what seemed like miles, but of course, the cave had to end somewhere. He spoke again before heading northwest around the wall. From what little light leaked into the cavern, the brute could barely see anything. The ground meeting the beginning of the wall was the only thing that he could see before it all escaped into darkness. The air around him started to swirl, but the brute assumed that it was just the underground musky air twirling and dancing within the walls. He started to scratch at the wall a couple of times, but dirt followed after more dirt, and so on. Soon enough, he heard the howl of the fae in the other direction of the cavern. Clearly, she had found something. Zev started out through the middle of the cave, carefully stepping in places since he didn’t have any wall on either side of him. He walked about twenty steps before he couldn’t scent the fae’s scent anymore. Where was she?

He turned around here and there, trying to peer through the darkness so he could try and see the fae. “Uh...” What was the fae’s name again? That’s right, she didn’t tell him. How was he going to call to her? “Miss? You wouldn’t mind barking once, do you? I cannot seem to find you in the dark.” A few moments passed, and he didn’t hear a thing. He started to walk again, panic starting to rise up through his throat. “Miss?” Still nothing. Soon, he found the wall and began to feel his way around. He could faintly smell her as he continued to walk. To picked up his pace, and soon he came to a gaping hole in the side of the wall. Had she fallen through? “Miss, are you down there?” Zev waited a moment before he smelled her scent in the darkness that resided below. She must have fallen through. He looked down and saw a cliff from inside the new cavern. He wouldn’t jump; if she was hurt, being hurt himself wasn’t going to help anybody. He carefully maneuvered his way down the pillars hanging on the sides of the wall. Soon, he came to the bottom and called out again. “Miss?”
