I lift my head upon hearing Moonglow's voice. She's calling for the pack. Getting up, I stretch and fluff out my coat, turning to look toward the den entrance. Laila sleeps soundly. I wander over to her, gently nuzzling her cheek. Wake up, love. Moonglow is calling. Smiling, I lick her forehead affectionately before taking off to the pack meeting, sure that Laila is right on my heels. Swallowbane, Ceal, and Alcide got here before me. I nod to each in turn, dipping my head respectfully to both Moonglow and Alcide. Taking a seat, I prick my ears, giving Moonglow my undivided attention as she starts to speak. My brow furrows in concern. Iromar has become evil, it seems. She says that they have been targeting Diveen. I know that name! It's the pack Brooke came from, the pack that Belinda called home. My throat constricts with sadness. She says my name and I Iisten accordingly, nodding in acknowledgement, my brow furrowing in determination. I will do whatever it takes to keep our pack safe. This is our home and more importantly, it's the home of my imprint, Laila. I will not risk her life. She asks us to scout. I'm a little more hesitant on this but I will do what needs to be done. It means more talking to strangers, something I'm not good at, but I'll do it for Spirane. When she says Laila's name, I stiffen automatically, listening to what my imprint will be in charge of. Protecting Ceal. Hopefully the Demons will not find out about Ceal's markings and mistake her for an Angel. If my imprint is in danger....I cringe to think what I will suddenly be capable of. In the end, there's an honor extended to Amaterasu. Swallowbane looks happy to be helping out his family, gently touching Moonglow's shoulder. I think of my own children and my heart twists uncomfortably. Will I ever make a relationship with them that will last? I glance up when he tells Moonglow to let him guard her. I flick an ear toward her, curious of her answer. The yearling Ceal sidles in close to Moonglow, though she looks worried at her words. I hope to catch her eyes and I smile, hoping to reassure her. Alcide licks Ceal and then Moonglow, the love apparent in his eyes. I look for Laila and smile when I catch her eyes, my own gaze filled with the love and adoration of an imprint. I listen as Alcide tells Ceal not to worry. I wag my tail, hoping his words will soothe her. Alcide goes over to a sturdy white wolf, asking him to take up the first patrol together. I glance toward Zildijian, remembering our short lived hunting expedition. Perhaps he could be my partner on these patrols? I don't mind the younger male's company and that's a start. |

The Bells Dyrim - The Speaker: Lead diplomat and is often times sent out to maintain good relations with allied packs. Charged with educating the Ambassadors in diplomatic ways. Astarael - The Weeper: The commander and lead warrior of the pack. Charged with teaching the Berserkers the art of battle. Clayr - The Seer: Charged with the pack's health, and in teaching the Shiners and those who wish to pursue the art of healing. Kibeth - The Walker: The leader of the Guard. They are the foremost line of defense, charged with securing the borders and bringing pertinent information from within and without the pack to the appropriate wolf. They also lead the Outriders. Ranna - The Sleeper: Assists the queen in guarding from theft as well as advising her of news and gossip from the whole of Moladion. Charged with teaching the Mages about theft, secret keeping, and overall sneakiness. Allowed to make and block steals. Mosrael - The Waker: Caretaker and storyteller of the pack, also the head pupsitter. Often times this wolf will look after the pack's youth and educate them of Spirane and Moladion's history. Leads the Remembrancers in pup watching. Charter - The Power: The master hunter of the pack. Leads and organizes all hunts and teaches the Falconers the art of the hunt. The Classes Berserkers: Warriors and hunters of the pack. Falconers: The pack hunters Mages: Thieves and secret keepers of the pack. Allowed to make and block steals. Ambassadors: Diplomats of the pack. Shiners: Healers of the pack. Outriders: The pack scouts who bring all news of happenings across Moladion back. Remembrancers: Wolves of a kind nature who look after the younger wolves of the pack. These wolves may wish to learn more about healing, but this is not a requirement. Bairns: The young pups of the pack Amateurs: Youth of the pack still finding their place Kinfolk: The general populance of the pack Elders: Respected retirees who still offer wisdom and insight |
