Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

**PERMISSION TO BEGIN FEEDING THREAD GRANTED BY STAFF HUNT-PLAYER**
If you were involved in the hunt, you must have first replied to the hunt before you may join this thread. Those who were exempt or not present will be required to acknowledge that Salem/D'Mani/Ravan have been given first rights to wherever they are feeding in their hunt posts and are given permission to defend their places with extreme prejudice. There will be no order of posts so that the feeding can be as free form as we want.

With the major blows going to Salem, D'Mani, and Ravan, Weylin finds he is less like his grandfather and mother's family in the matters of feeding. The ones who had fashioned the hunt's success were given first purchase to the meal and he would not defend others against attack if they thought to steal their thunder. He keeps an eye on the strange wolf, Letum, and makes quite certain that the wolf's eyes meet his. He lifts his lips at the stranger, teeth buried and wrenching the poorly hung rubbery flipper from its place on the carcass. When he is done with his growl at Letum, he turns to look away and at the others who most deserved their feeding rights - and then to those who had helped make the hunt a success, Letum among them despite his disappearance. They would all eat well, this bull stellar sea lion more than enough fat and meat to satisfy them for a time. He does not strike at D'mani for feeding upon the sea lion before him, allowing Ravan too to begin feasting alongside the ravenous Salem. He looks instead, for Morts, making eye contact and placing the flipper in the sand pointedly - a gift - before he turned and trotted to where the bull's head was still attached.

It was crushed, strangely disfigured, but he still cuts past whoever would dare take issue and begins his decisive removal of its head, latching on and yanking and tugging until a wet pop has the spine dislocated from the skull and the flesh Salem had loosened gives the rest of the way. He stands, head in his maw, and looks then for Selene.
