OOC: Bad News!! I'm going to be at inactive for two weeks. Yes, hiatus. =( But I will post, just not as often. After two weeks=yayz!

IC: Darketh ignored Tryst's warning. The decomposing pup skull was horrific and gory, but stiil, Darketh wanted to find out what was the shiny object. Close up, it was larger than he expected.

"Great howls... What have we found?" He whispered in awe. Darketh reached his steely paw deeper into the thin crevice, his muscles painfully tensed in case he had to pull it out quickly. He was also almost petrified in fear. Something suddenly scuttled onto his paw, tickling the skin underneath his fur.

Darketh leaped up and screamed.

"AUUGGGHHHH! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFFFFF!" He shrieked. Darketh ran around the room, shaking his paw. As if the creepy atmosphere and the scent of blood wasn't enough, something was actually crawling on him! But he couldn't see his "attacker."

Darketh stopped running and looked at his paw. It was just a spider. A stupid, venomless, harmless little spider. Darketh wiped it shamefully off his paw. His lower lip quivered and he looked miserably at Tryst. Darketh was humiliated and shaken. He tried to bite back tears, but failed.

"I'm pathetic, aren't I? I can't even go through a stupid little cave without having a meltdown. I'll never be an explorer. I'm just as useful as a pup." He whimpered.

What a drama queen. Said a distant voice in the back of his head.
