If there was one thing in the world of Shimo-Ariku's world that she could change, it would have to be her past. The ebony pup had been seperated from her father, and her mother died from a bomb. Her father had just been injured heavily, and knowing his healing rate, he probably had a heavy limp.
Shimo-Ariku was not the best behaved pup; she was more on the worse side. Her parents were Alphas when she lived in Japan, and this young pup was so used to being spoiled. This girl would be stubborn and rude for now, it wasn't her fault that she needed to live on her own from now on.
She was sent over here for some unkown reason; the actual reason though was that Japan was going to get more bombs and her father wanted to save her from this. Her dad was probably dead by now, but Shimo-Ariku would not dare think that way.
The pup turned her head backwards, as the feeling of someone was watching her rose in her body. A shiver went up her spine: what pup wouldn't be scared? Clearing her mind of it, she turned back to the shallow river in front of her. Hazel-brownish eyes traced themselves down the stream, and they bounched down a few times through the small staircases that it trickled down.
Eventually, she started walking along it, watching the water wave in severla soothing ways. It reminded Shimo of her father's voice: she remembered it clear and well. Memories flooded back to the last night she spent with him; which was the same day her mother died.
*She was getting settled for bed, her eyes dry from the tears. Shimo had enough of them burning her cheeks. Her mother had just died, and she saw it all. The explosion was first. She was on a mountian, and it came from another; the hunting mountian. She dashed over, and saw the land was all charred and burned. A ebony body like her own laid by the explosion point, her mother. That was in the afternoon; and she was still crying (but no more were coming). Her father just came in, upset as well. "Shimo-Ariku, would you like me to sing you a song?" He spoke softly, and she nodded and sniffled. "Now hush little baby don't you cry, everything's going to be alright. Stiffen that upper lip little lady, I told ya, Daddy's here to hold ya through the night. I know mommy's not here right now and we don't know why. We fear how we feel inside. It may seem a little crazy, pretty baby but I promise momma's gon' be alright." By that time she had fallen asleep.*
When she came back to the real world, she continued watching the river and it's calm actions. She turned her head forward again, and her snout went right into a soft pelt. It was a mixture of colors, brown, tan, and sandish. She looked up with her brownish eyes, and saw a female there. She must of been an adult like her mom or her dad.
"Why were you in my way?" Her sassy voice spoke. She made it sound like she was oh so perfect, and she thought she was. Shimo-Ariku wasn't though, and it'd take her a long time to understand it. Her eyes showed a bit of anger, and she awaited the adult's response.
