aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Leila smirked, chuckling under her breath as the young albeit spirited pup faltered gently to the side. She had not intended to damage him in any kind of way, so she was pleased when he regained his juvenile posture. The pup, Leila noted, emitted a grin of mischief – much similar to the one she had possessed when plotting a trick on Kalgalath. The wolfling prompted Leila of her own self as a pup; she had always been delving into trouble, planning tricks on elderly wolves. Leila’s vibrant spheres met the pup’s own rebellious ones. And then the pup full of naughtiness batted her larger paw with his smaller paw. She laughed gently, observing as he jumped back to listen to her following words. Leila’s orbs crossed his body – such a young thing but he had the ambition of an older titan. His bright, blue eyes were watching her intently – and she found herself wondering what exactly was crossing his mind. But Leila had no time to dwell on information she could not retain, instead she enquired his name whilst delivering her own to him. Pups always made her laugh with their amusing responses and try hard exterior. It was true that this pup was indeed trying to appear ‘hard.’

‘My name’s Tyson,’ Leila smiled and nodded – the name itself seemed to suit Tyson very nicely indeed. Leila had just managed to suppress a laugh as he spoke; puffing out his chest like a strong, older wolf. His head was lifted and he stood regally for a few moments, or at least as much as a pup could perform. “Well Tyson, it is a pleasure to meet you.” She said, with a small smile. Leila nodded politely, amused by the antics of the young brute. She cleared her throat momentarily before observing the pup once more. Tyson tested out her name before speaking slightly formally. She grinned, “Hello Tyson.” The phantom replied gently, her eyes emitting the playful amusement.

And then, out of nowhere the pup began to fire many questions in her direction; all of which Leila only managed to catch. She strained her sooty head forward, ears rotating in attempt to hear all. Like a fickle creature, Tyson reversed his attention towards to the gentle ripples of water but changed once again to hear her response. Leila shook her head at the young titan’s actions. “Well, to answer your first question I am here because I fancied a morning stroll and also I was quite parched. I am alone because… I have not been here long and the only friend I have currently is Kalgalath – he’s probably busy with errands somewhere, I was hoping someone would be down here. I am not sure about the popularity of this area, Tyson. And no, I do not know any more pups…” Leila said and inhaled a large breath. “Phew, that was a lot.”

“So Tyson, how are you finding yourself in Aurora Borealis so far? It is a wonderful pack that is for sure.” She enquired, sighing as softly as the wind.
