During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The demoness lost herself to the time again as she sat there, waiting, and she was starting to hate this feeling. It was almost like she was waiting for something to happen, like life was holding out on her and everything was frozen in time. A sigh escaped her maw as the feeling of new pain shot across her nerves. Her front limb was no longer numb and the journey home was now taking its toll upon her body. It was worth it though; no pain could match to the feeling of being home, a place that offered content all on its own. Soul gates closed briefly as she inhaled the familiar scents of the place she called home for seasons and she never expected to lose that right. Until now that is, all because of some stupid mistake that should have never come from her in the first place. Not a trained warrior like herself. At this point she really wished she had been able to go after that unknown stranger.

Her thoughts were only broken when a familiar scent became stronger and more distinctive than the others blowing in the breeze. Ears pricked forward as she opened her chocolate orbs and continued to wait for a form to come in view. Serris would be the one to greet her but the omega, if she was welcomed here still, didn’t know if this was a good or bad sign. The first thing she looked to when she saw him was his eyes to see if she could see any emotion. At first there was nothing but she see his optics narrow in a fashion that had her a little nervous. Was he angry that she had gotten hurt? Perhaps he was upset that she hadn’t come back because she was foolish enough to get hurt. Oh, dear gods that existed, if any, let that be the case and she could take a simple admonishment for her time of MIA.

He come closer to her and she had to force herself to break her gaze from him long enough to seem respectful, but as soon as that was completed her chocolate soul gates were right back on him. The King had seated himself upon the ground, his tassel neatly at his side. Devil had expected lyrics to flow when she saw his jaws part but they closed and she heard nothing. Surely she hadn’t gone deaf? The natural noises surrounding her like the leaves rustlings, bird singing, and such seemed to mock her at this point. Serris had never been at a loss for words before and now she felt her stomach churning. Surely he wasn’t forcing her away? Shock filled her as he looked away and she found herself staring at her ivory colored paws at this point. Even when she finally heard his voice she didn’t look up again. What else had she expected? Serris probably thought she had deserted Munashii Gekko and now she was positive that she was going to lose her home. She be damned if she was just going to give up now though, no she would stick it out and wait to see if he would really kick her out or not.

The brutale had to find her voice before she could respond, but she did finally speak like she was suppose to. She would explain herself even if it was still possible that she would be sent away, it was the least she could do. I went to Misty Mountain for a short break and on my way back I was taken by surprise. A pause was given here, making it quite obvious how much the fighter inside of her hated to admit what was coming next. A loner had taken me by surprise and I ended up injuring myself in the fall down the side of the mountain. I came back as soon as I could, sir. Nothing else came from her, at this point she wasn’t even sure if she could of managed another word. Devil had come to the conclusion that she was no longer welcome here and couldn’t bring herself to face the one alpha that had stayed. Ironic huh, she would be forced out the one time that Munashii Gekko had managed to hold onto its ruler.

ooc: I don't think I've ever rped her so vulnerable before.
