Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

It had been quite some time since Vague had been captured to Diveen and kept prisoner by the very queen. She talked to him and revealed herself very different from what he thought she was. But it wasn’t that, which made him change. When Vague found one of his lost children, Elric, he could see what he had done. But Isola helped him to see what he didn’t see before. He hadn’t been the only one to suffer so much. And the most important… Heyel hadn’t betrayed him as he thought he did. The dark wolf stopped hunting and blaming everyone related to the king assassin. Deep in his heart, he held an anger that couldn’t be controlled even by himself, an anger for Amir. Amir was still Vague’s target, but he wouldn’t attack his enemy. The right time would come… He smiled as his daughter finished her meal and cuddled with her dad. She was tired after walking a long way, tracking him. Vague let her rest peacefully. He lowered his head to the ground for a moment and with a sigh, he would take a break himself.

Not too long after, someone peeked in through the den’s entrance. He was quick to raise his head. Ska woke up again and looked at the ivory wolf in front of them. Vague’s ears laid back against his skull as Heyel spoke. A paw reached over ska, protectively.

- Daddy? - Ska looked up at Vague, afraid.

The dark warrior looked down to his daughter and gave her a lick on her forehead.

- It’s alright, Ska… It’s alright - He whispered softly.

Heyel spoke once again, commenting about his daughter and threatening him. He just listened with his ears folded back, watching the ivory one in front of him in silence. Not threatening him back or doing anything. Vague knew that Heyel hated him now for what he had done, but there was nothing he could do. He just wanted to protect his daughter. Heyel seemed to want information about Iromar and he threatened Ska to get it… Vague only watched… Waiting… Another wolf came in, younger than Heyel, she sat by her master’s side. Vague just ignored her, paying attention to the white one’s words. He revealed that Vague was marked to be killed as well as his mate and he was asking that small thing if his daughter should be marked too. Vague growled only once… Once it would be… Only one warning, sharp and quick. They both treated them as if they were mere objects, deciding if they should rid of them or not. The small one judged… Vague ignored her… Just worried about Heyel… Ska was afraid, but she trusted her daddy. But she was confused by Heyel’s words. Maked to die? She looked up at Vague once more, silently asking what did Heyel mean…

- All will be okay, Ska… - He whispered once more in her tiny ears.

Did not take long for another to appear from behind them. Tesseract. Vague recognized by his voice as he spoke, defending him. Vague knew… A lot… About many things… Many things… Ska hid her head between her paws and shuffled closer to her daddy. She trusted him.
