News - SUMMER
Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.
Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.
We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.
As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

Where angels fear to tread IP: 24.27.96.14 Posted on May 15, 2013 at 02:30:13 AM by aVa
I keep watch of him with my sharp copper eyes. His tries to seem intimidating. The little punk even flashes his fangs in the dark night of our first meeting. I have never been around a puppy before. I do not know what this little piece of flesh is thinking, but he obviously has an ego to him. I narrow my eyes and my expression is morphed to that of a harsh look. Still lacking any particular emotion other than an intimidating face. He seems to be pleased when I stop laughing, of course, no pup enjoys being laughed at. He will have to get used to it though. I could rip his head off right now, his little black head and no one would notice and hardly anyone would care. In fact, I would be praised by half of the pack for doing so. Yet I will not be killing this pup who, weeks ago, I probably would have injured for having the gall to tread into my den...of course, my den is a place where angels fear to tread...this boy, is no angel.
He sits before me and I keep myself upright, laying on my belly and gazing down upon him. I am trying to understand what others see in these puppies. They are small, weak, annoying. Yet, Their minds are of the same. I wonder if I can mold one of these puppies into whatever I want them to be. The world is only what they know, and if I can control their knowledge, I essentially would control them. Heyel has done the very same thing to puppies for years, yet I was always somewhere aware beyond his words. This pup was of true blood, a true relative that is likely being lied to by everyone else. I allow a smirk to calmly touch my silky black lips. What a lucky boy he is, stumbling upon probably the only relative that will not sugar coat his existence and tell him the truth. He beings to speak and I find his words a little odd. This one is Elijah, I know the name of the puppies and their looks despite not personally meeting them. He was a white boy with a black head marked in red. Yet, he speaks in third person. I know I am not mistaken, it is just that this boy is completely strange. He speaks of angels and being broken, and it is becoming much too obvious that this little pup is a piece of work. I lift a single brow at him, blinking as he speaks latin to me on this calm night.
"No, you are not an angel. Not completely. You, my dear, will be more than that. You are not broken, you are better,"
Yes, I am going to encourage him to be more than just a silly angel. He is an angel bred with a demon, a demon who kills and consumes the flesh of other wolves, my true cousin in blood. No wonder. I have begun to see more worth within that creature named Tobias, he is useful for culling the weak and useless one by one. I cross my spotted paws over, my pose regal by nature and my size also naturally epic. I lay her before him as a goddess of beauty, power, and intelligence. I, of course, look the part with my silken dark pelt that even glimmers in the slightest of moonlight. Yes, I must be a sight to admire even in the cover of shadow. I chuckle slightly, allowing my blissful voice to fill the air once again.
"Darling, I am cousin Ava. I am the cousin you will want to know the most, for I am the only one who will not cover your eyes...No, my dear, I am the one will not let them keep you blind and hold you back,"
I lean my head in slightly, my shadowed face catching a bit more of the slender light that lingered so carefully in my den. the harshness of my face is toned down by the wicked growing grin on my powerful jaw. There was an obvious darkness within my soul that seemed to peek out, just for this little boy, the one of two real relative that reside within Diveen. Apparently though, children don't know how to sit still for very long. The little boy beings to wiggle around like puppies often do. He comes towards my leaning in muzzle to sniff, curious and brave and I only think of how I could swiftly snap my jaws around his neck and end his little life so quickly. He dare touch me again, his paw coming in contact with my shoulder and my head follows his every movement. A soft growl being to fill the cold void of my den, and a fang begins to peek out of my mouth. Puppies, I have been told and observed, need to be put in their place often. I am no toy for this boy, but let him know how strong I really am if he so desires. I am thick with muscles well defined and yet I still hold beauty, and yet, maybe I think beauty is a display of power, with feminine curves and unfathomable grace.
He speaks to me but it is no distraction. Just because he is a puppy, doesn't mean that I don't notice his actions. I am a highly aware creature, not even a puppy can be a good distraction. I cared not for his comment on how big I am. He likely hasn't seen many wolves in his life so far, he is full of ignorance, this strange boy who speaks of himself in third person, and then first again. Shadow...Shadow must be his father Tobias. I smirk slightly at his comment, but my fangs rip into the darkness again as he climbs on my back. This climbing shit is annoying and not to be tolerated. I issue a warning growl, a growl so deep it vibrates my very core and would haunt the dreams of any who heard it. I was about to throw his body off of mine but I am taken a bit by surprise at what he says. Not the thing about his father, but that Elijah calls himself Ego, another voice in his head. Oh great. This one hears voices, or has two personalities, or something odd like that. Not surprising for a puppy born from Tobias. My ears flicker in irritation as my tail lashes the thick shadow of night.
Before I decided to rip him from my form, he makes a mistake he will likely regret. He attempts to bite me right as I moved to get him off, teeth grazing my skin and displeasing me greatly. I aim to throw him off with the sudden and strong movement of my body pushing him aside, as my leg reaches around as he falls to smash down upon him. I aim to have my foreleg pin him to the dirt, heavy and harsh yet not harsh enough that it should harm him...I think. I imagine he won't be happy and will struggle and be a little bitch about it, but he will learn who the true master is around here. My copper eyes rush to meet his with a wicked snarl ravishing my lips. I am a beauty that can turn into your worst nightmare in the blink of an eye.
"Don't mistake bravery for stupidity, it is not wise to bite the one who feeds you, and let me tell you...Ego, I am about the only one here who will tell you the truth of your existence. Now you don't dare sink your fangs into me again, or else you will forever be ignorant of the truth. They will not tell you. They have no respect for you. They care only for Aaliyah and thus they allow her to stay within the borders, for this shadow is the reason why she must live here, and is also the reason why you must live on the edge. Do you want to know the truth, boy? Or do you want to lied to the rest of your little existence? Tell me now, why have you come here? I will tell you the truth of the shadow, the truth of the pack. If you wish to stay blind and ignorant, get out of my sight before I rip your little black head off"
I held him down with the weight and strength of my legs until my words so beautiful and laced with growls ended. I then lifted my leg up, keeping my eye on him to make sure he didn't touch me with his fangs again. I stare at him with my intimidating gaze and fading fangs, waiting for him to answer me, make a move, or get the hell out of here. He is my blood, and I respect his boldness though I will not admit it quite yet. I could use a pup so bold, so daring as long as I controlled his...ignorance. I see potential in him, potential in this Ego, though I need to know more. I need to understand this boy. Let me see what this boy says, if he accept my offer for knowledge, yet he must show me some obedience by answering my question. I will not tolerate a boy who does not listen and does not communicate with me. Yes, let us see where this takes us.
