Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I pace the borders of Glorall restlessly, unable to ease while I feel her pain. The moment Sinopa gained her first battle wound, I knew that something was wrong. I remember waking from a brief afternoon nap with a pain not my own and yet it felt as sharp as if someone had just stabbed me with a hot blade. I knew in that moment that my soul was in pain, my imprint. I got to my paws hurridly and rushed out to Glorall, only to find her scent fading and a trail leading toward none other than the fighting grounds. Worries making my brow furrow, I followed her scent to the battle arena on the edge of the pack lands, eyes narrowing on the form of a strange male launching himself at her again. I do not know the male but his scent is familiar. He smells of the male I went to battle with only a few months before, Makism. Could this possibly be the "mate" Isola explained to me? Why is he attacking Sinopa? My heart is in my throat as they go at each other. She is holding her own well but near the end, I know that her wounds are a little worse. And yet her victory means less to me than her well being. I only want her to be okay again. Many times I wanted to jump in and tear the male away from her, show her what it's like to fight someone his own size, his own gender, but I hold back because I know that this is more than just an attack, it's a battle and that means there's a prize at stake. Are they fighting over Glorall? I know that the king Weylin has disappeared. I don't know the specifics, just that he's not around and his scent is stale. My brow furrows as I watch Sinopa limping, whimpers slipping past my lips. As soon as the fight is judged though, I call out to her, hoping she'll come.

"Sinopa, love, let me see you." I urge softly, eyes softening as I wait for her at the borders. Even in defeat, this is still her home and surely the male won't make her leave in her condition. I want to make her feel better, comfort her in any way I can. I can't stand seeing her like this.
