Alcide grew restless. With all the shifts in power going on throughout Moladion – the death of the King of Iromar and his Queen’s rise to power, the loss of the King of Glorall and the battles that waged for its leadership – a feeling of unrest had risen in the behemoth’s chest. Spirane’s numbers were small, and although they had the support of the most powerful pack in Moladion at their back, Alcide knew that the pack needed to band together and become a stronger unit. MoonGlow had left this task to him, her northern star, while she carried out a shamaness duty that had been put to her by the spirits. And so, today, Alcide made his way towards the largest clearing in Spirane. It was at the mountain’s heart, halfway up the side of the mountain in an area that leveled off before a steep incline that would take one to the uppermost peaks of the territory. He arrived at the clearing at midday, and he wasted no time in lifting his crown to the skies and letting forth a call to the entirety of the pack – from the youngest pup to the eldest wolf that called the mountain home. This was a mandatory meeting, one to bring them all together so that they could plan for their futures. It was a chance for mother’s to introduce their pups to the pack. It was an opportunity for any wolf who sought a higher rank among the hierarchy to rise to the challenge. His howl rang forth across the land, summoning them to him. When the sonata had concluded, he shifted his weight and stepped backwards, placing himself at the pivotal head of the clearing closest to the inclined trek that led up the mountainside. Hopefully it would not take too long for the pack to arrive, for surely they would heed his call as if MoonGlow had made it herself. He only hoped he would not disappoint his mate. The Bells Dyrim - The Speaker: Lead diplomat and is often times sent out to maintain good relations with allied packs. Charged with educating the Ambassadors in diplomatic ways. Astarael - The Weeper: The commander and lead warrior of the pack. Charged with teaching the Berserkers the art of battle. Clayr - The Seer: Charged with the pack's health, and in teaching the Shiners and those who wish to pursue the art of healing. Kibeth - The Walker: The leader of the Guard. They are the foremost line of defense, charged with securing the borders and bringing pertinent information from within and without the pack to the appropriate wolf. They also lead the Outriders. Ranna - The Sleeper: Assists the queen in guarding from theft as well as advising her of news and gossip from the whole of Moladion. Charged with teaching the Mages about theft, secret keeping, and overall sneakiness. Allowed to make and block steals. Mosrael - The Waker: Caretaker and storyteller of the pack, also the head pupsitter. Often times this wolf will look after the pack's youth and educate them of Spirane and Moladion's history. Leads the Remembrancers in pup watching. Charter - The Power: The master hunter of the pack. Leads and organizes all hunts and teaches the Falconers the art of the hunt. The Classes Berserkers: Warriors and hunters of the pack. Falconers: The pack hunters Mages: Thieves and secret keepers of the pack. Allowed to make and block steals. Ambassadors: Diplomats of the pack. Shiners: Healers of the pack. Outriders: The pack scouts who bring all news of happenings across Moladion back. Remembrancers: Wolves of a kind nature who look after the younger wolves of the pack. These wolves may wish to learn more about healing, but this is not a requirement. Bairns: The young pups of the pack Amateurs: Youth of the pack still finding their place Kinfolk: The general populance of the pack Elders: Respected retirees who still offer wisdom and insight |
