At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

So now he knew. She had no past, or at least no past that she had memory of. And she had had no memories before the rapids, until she had remembered that single memory – one with no images, no visions, only a feeling of warmth and safety and love. Apollonia held fast to it, scared that she would lose it once more, and even more frightened that the memory was a false one, one that her imagination had created in order to quench her craving for a memory. But a false memory was better than no memory.

Yes, Apollonia. That was very good. In fact it was better than good… It was FANTASTIC. Well done. The faeling smiled, her emeralds gazing at the titan that loomed over her. Her trembling had already ceased, the pup comforted by the brute’s warmth and strength. She paused and simply stood gazing at the brute that had persuaded her into the water’s depths. Ever since she had awoken, Apollonia had stayed as far away from bodies of water as she could for fear of the beasts that laid within. But here she was, knee deep in the water, the brute her protector. And yet she had managed to venture deeper into the dangerous liquid, away from the brute. She had wanted to impress him, and so she had pushed herself to her very limits.

How do you feel now Apollonia? The pup’s tiny auds flickered toward the brute, and her trembling started again. “I’m cold Mister.” Apollonia’s gaze drifted away from the titan’s large cranium and down toward the ripples that were travelling across the water’s surface. She could not remember the last time that she had eaten. A growl rumbled through her stomach, the noise startling the young fae. Apollonia jumped straight up out of the water, positive that the noise was the sound of a water demon on its way to eat her. Her tiny cranium collided with the brute’s chest floor, sending her splashing down into the water. She couldn’t get her feet underneath her quick enough, and she found herself under the water’s surface. The pup tried to scream, but only bubbles came out. Her tiny claws raked at the silt of the Lake floor and when she finally got ahold, she raised her self out of the water, yelping all the while.
