Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Yes he is an alpha. Such a strong presence already gave it up for me. He too has scars, of course, not quite like me� For my pelt is all ruffled and fuzzy and they are clear for everyone to see. Not that I am a dirty wolf, I just do not usually take care of my pelt. Zen was the one who truly cared about it. My pretty girl! She had such a lovely pelt, perfect all the time. It�s sad that she chose to go after her traitor brother other than staying with us. She would be the perfect queen. She was very smart and surely a lovely girl. She disappeared before even completing her training. Shame�

He confirmed that he was an alpha, but he doesn�t go into details, I wonder why� But there is no reason I should pressure him or anything, he doesn�t want to tell me about it, it�s alright.

Then he starts telling me about Vidar, the son of Vague. He tells me how this traitor rather preferred another pack than his father. For me, such a child never deserved to live. I would have killed Sulan if I knew he was leaving his own pack! I despise this kind of wolf who leave their own father as if we were nothing. We take care of them and do everything for them and what we get back? Rejection! I found myself nearly growling as he told me about this Vidar. I would kill this fellow if he wasn�t protected by a pack. Hm.. Perhaps in time.

I watch as he circles my little contraption a few times, curious. A chuckle leaves my muzzle gently as I walk towards it to take a rock. I gaze at him.

- Attention now� This can be used like a weapon, and when you know how works. This� - I pointed at it -� can be used to your advantage in infinite ways. Sometimes this can be difference between live and die�. Carefully put a rock on one side and press hard on the other.

I paused and looked in his eyes.

- Two things that you always should remember. Only two things� never block the wood, that is your aim- I took the wood and moved it, showing him how to aim -� and, keep your head away.

I picked one of the smaller rocks and put it on one side of the wood and lifted my paw.

- Strength and Weight!

I threw my paw on the wood with all strength and my weight. This sent the rock flying.

- Easy!

I stepped aside allowing him to try it. I waited for him to try it before proceeding.

I smiled.
