Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

Have You Ever Heard the Wolf Cry to the Blue Corn Moon?

_________________________________________________________________________

There was a breeze blowing through the silver brute’s pelt that walked lonely through the lands. These lands were unknown to him as he was new to the area. He had not been on his own for very long, for he had recently been traveling with his now deceased father. He missed his father greatly, but was a strong wolf and knew he was ready to join a pack. He hoped that by wandering in one direction he would eventually come to a pack territory. Even though Summer had been raised by just his father, he was taught strict manners and etiquette one how to behave properly around other wolves. Summer was confident that being raised correctly by his father would help him be accepted into a pack, if he could find one that is.

Summer continued the easy lope that he was trotting along at through the forest, not in any rush at the moment. He knew that he would not survive well on his own unless he adapted his hunting skills to be able to take down smaller prey for himself. The silver brute was used to hunting larger game with his father and knew that the sooner he could join a pack the more likely he would survive. Summer was also lonely. He had felt lonely when it was just him and his father and now without his father there was an emptiness in his chest that he longed to fill. Summer was a full grown adult now, and hoped to find a place that he could be happy in for the rest of his life, and maybe even find a mate eventually.

As Summer made his way through the unknown lands he made sure to pay close attention to the scents around him, knowing that intruding on a packs territory would not make a good first impression. It was a warm day and the sun was warming the silver fur of his pelt. The brute loved to feel the warmth of the sun on him as he padded silently through the lands. While he was walking the scent of wolves reached his nares. He paused to inhale deeply, I must be coming to a pack’s territory, Summer thought to himself. He walked more cautiously now, paying special attention to the scent that was growing stronger as he approached the unknown pack’s territory.

Summer suddenly knew when he was at the pack’s boundaries as the scent was strongly laid to indicate it was a pack’s lands. As Summer approached and stopped to sit on his haunches he started to wonder what this pack that he was now at would be like. He was only in a pack for a few months when he was born before he was adopted by his father who raised him. He knew that the only way he would find out was to alert the wolves in the territory of his presence, if they didn’t already know he was there. He leaned his head back, pulling his ears down, and let out a calling howl, telling the wolves around him that he was new and that he was no threat to anyone. After letting the call escape his maw he waited patiently, hoping someone friendly would come along to welcome him.
