Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Was he serious? Was he so goddamn serious - what the hell? Who the hell? No, it could not have been him. But the scent, so faint the breeze, and the way his head was stupid and grey unlike the rest of him - it had to be him. Hell, even the way his stupid, stupid legs moved beneath him and the stupid way he looked at everything made her think that it had to be him. Oh yes, she had been watching him from afar - she did it a lot, watching others that was. She found satisfaction in listening in, learning about their names, heritage, whatever they talked about but this one. Oh, she'd been following him for some time now, eyes narrowed, body stiff and the whole of her mind, body and soul tormented by anger. She'd never been this angry, not even when Heyel had been dumb enough to admit that he'd laid in den with another female despite Zeivah. Not even when stupid Azrael had put his big stupid paws on her as a pup and scratched her belly - never, ever.

She hated him. Yes, she had decided that had to be the case because it was not likely that she'd missed the brat and his dumb-ness. Yes, it must have been hate that made her want to go over there.

Nope, she was not going to deny herself any longer. Though she had been creeping downwind from her, her dark form in the shadows of the thickets and tall trees - she'd stalked and stalked but now it was time for action. With a snort to herself and an agitated flick of her tail, she was off at break neck speed - what, did you expect she was just going to calmly trot on over and kiss him hello? Of course not, that would be civil and an act of kindness. Instead, she sprinted forward, releasing a hoarse bark-howl hybrid to announce her presence before she leapt, aiming to slam into him though she doubted her diminutive size would do that. If she could have, she would have pinned him down and just screamed. Instead, she was forced to leap time and time again, moving into a bouncing circle around him, attempting to hit him with her paws and biting the air in frustration.

"You think you can just walk in here after almost four years like you goddamn belong here? You think you're allowed to do that? Who the hell do you think you are!?"

It was an explosion of words, breathless and bellowed with little regard for whether or not she was too close to his ears. Would he even recognise her - ear splattered in white and eyes so bright? Or would he dispatch her like a sock toy, toss her aside and go forth on whatever mission he was on? Good luck - she was still pouncing, jumping and smacking him all the same, lips curled up over her teeth and features contorted into a dark frown. Hate was weird - it felt like excitement but not, maybe it wasn't even hate. All she knew is that she had lived the last four years thinking the boy she had saved from the snow storm was dead - she'd gone thinking Zeivah had been burned away and her dad was not even a real thing but no. They all kept coming back didn't they?

"You were dead, you bastard. You've been dead and now you're just walking around here like your shit don't stick. What's your game? Get! Get away! I hate you!"

Ah, yes, a final slap of her paw before she finally stopped to catch her breath before him, head lowered and hackles raised like knives to sky. There's your good morning kiss, Cayen.
