Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

If I Look Back I Am Lost  |
_________________________________________________________________________ After Daenerys introduced herself to the new fae she waited to learn her name. She introduced herself as Kahlan of Saw Tooth pack as she smiled and wagged her tail in a friendly gesture. The fae quickly added that she was not a ranked wolf and that she just called that pack home. Hearing Kahlan call her pack home made Daenerys think of her old home with her mate and pups, just as she had been before Kahlan had called out to her. Kahlan smiled at Daenerys, making her seem less threatening and Daenerys relaxed a bit, hoping the fae really meant her no harm. As Daenerys was pondering the actions of this new wolf a slew of questions came out of her maw, “So Daenerys what brings you to Blossom Forest? Have you found a pack to live in yet? Do you have any family?” Daenerys was taken aback by everything that Kahlan was asking her at once, not giving her time to answer her first question before asking her second and third. Hearing the third question about her family made Daenerys feel heartbroken. She knew that it was only going to be a matter of time before she met someone and they would ask why she had come here and about her past, she had just hoped it wouldn’t have been so soon. The gray fae paused a few moments before answering, trying to steady what she knew would be a shaky voice if she attempted to respond right away. She had to decide how much she could talk about to this she and how much she was still not ready to put into words. As Daenerys calmed herself down she looked at the new she, deciding that she needed to answer her. “Well Kahlan I happened to stumble upon Blossom Forest when I left my home. I have been wandering the area since I found it but I have not yet found a pack to join.” Daenerys paused again before answering her last question, knowing the answer would be painful to finally put into words. She stuttered a bit as she began speaking, “A..a..as for my family, I lost my mate and three pups right before I left my home.” She had said it. That was the first time that the fae had spoken any words aloud about her now deceased family. She let out a shuddering breath, not wanting to appear weak and emotional in front of the stranger. ________________________________________________________________________ |
