-One:Winged:Angel-

Winter was here. I rather liked the cold bite of these lands, though I did not like my old mountain home I did miss the bitter cold nights and sometimes days. A strange thing to miss, but when wounded and alone the cold helped to numb the pain. I have not felt the genuine pain of real fangs trying to hurt me in some time. My golden pelt was untainted with crimson or scars, thankfully it seemed most of the ones from my old home had covered up with my wild pelt. My white toes were blending with the slowly falling snow, the first I had seen this year. I paused looking up at it with my bright teal eyes shaking my head as a particularly large flake landed on my black nose. I couldn�t help but let one of those rare smiles crease my muzzle, but as fast as it came it vanished. I never was one to look �happy�.

My thoughts changed pace, soon I wanted to speak to Kane. I just had to train with Amir a little more, but I didn�t want to be just a warrior of Diveen when the time came. I wanted to prove my worth, be better than what was expected of that skinny, torn pawed child that had come to the borders of Diveen not even sure of what he had wanted. Now I knew I wanted to prove myself and be the best. Amir had trained by the best, Devil May Cry, and honestly, I guess I am feeling pretty full of it, but I wanted to fight him. Sure he was some old man, but he wasn�t that old, but I wanted too. He was the best warrior of all time, and as much as I looked up to Amir with his skills, Devil really was my goal.

I haven�t told anyone of this, nor did I know that currently to mess with the old black wolf would probably mean death, but I was not ready, I knew I wasn�t ready. I still had a year to grow, I was nearly fully grown now, but when I was four, Devil needed to look out I would be ready to dismantle his title of undefeated warrior. I never knew who to pick fights with, probably never would, but I didn�t care, I had my mind made up. Winter was a strange time for me, I could tell that maybe Amir was distracted by something, I didn�t know what but it seemed he had been since the season had changed. My brain had been torn away though by all these thoughts and feelings, the smell of decay was in the crisp air and a growl ringed in my white tipped ears.

My hackles raised at both the smell and the growl, but I steadied myself. It wasn�t far, not if I could hear it, and again I guess I didn�t know or care what I was about to get into because I quickly went to the sound. Something smelling of death and decay? Sounded like a mission for a Diveen warrior. I could be a demon or even worse in my mind a cannibal. I moved quickly, low to the ground as if I would be attacked at any moment. My heart raced, but I kept my breathing steady, I was eager to see who I would be fighting, if I had to fight them I reminded myself.

I moved towards her, and I stopped as soon as my eager eyes spotted her feminine frame. No, I wouldn�t fight a girl, that just didn�t seem right. Though I was well aware females could fight too, it just didn�t seem like someone so clearly feminine could fight. I was trying not to be snarky I really was, but I couldn�t see what she was so upset about so I had to assume.

�If you are so upset that you smell bad, you should take a bath. Really you should.� I was never good at wise cracks, but really she did smell pretty bad, if it wasn�t for that she might have been somewhat nice to look at and be around.
