News - SUMMER
Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.
Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.
We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.
As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

He watches as her ears prick, and he sees that little spark in her eyes. She is to follow. This pleases Yojimbo, that she was willing to run, willing to try. You cannot help someone who will not help themselves. Moth has decided to open up to him, to tell him of her trouble if she really thought about it or not. That is what Yojimbo is here for. He is here for others. His true nature is a wandering soul, one unbound, but he has learned that he is here for others. He is not in Diveen for himself. He had promised Isola to be her adviser, because she needed it, not because he desired power or rank. He will always be there, for those who needed an ear, or a solution to their problems, and yet they must come to him. They must take the first step themselves. One could linger in their den and wallow, never get better to feel the air crisp within their lungs to give them life. They must choose to feel, for it is the mind that wins over matter.
The dark male nodded slightly, knowing she would follow him, and he took off. He was a creature built for endurance, though speed was still a thing gifted to him just not as much as some others. He did not run too quickly though, nor too slowly. It was night, and the darkness had flooded the land in a way that would make it like an ocean in the sea of Diveen. He moves so sleekly, so smoothly like he had done this many times before, maybe over many lifetimes. His eyes did not stay stuck forward no, Yojimbo looked all around while he ran, when he knew the path ahead of him was mostly clear. He would look between trees, at the sky, at the tall hills of Diveen and the life crawling between them. Yojimbo was going to the edge though. He had explored Diveen thoroughly, probably more so than any other, especially in the recent months when Isola was taking care of Vega, for Yojimbo cannot provide the milk of mothers for his daughter. In that time, Yojimbo memorized so much, and his paws were agile in their deals with any rock or stone within his way. He would look back on occasion, to see how Moth was doing on their little journey. A run in itself can be enough to revitalize the soul, and they were running past some of the most stunning night vision in Diveen. They passed by one of the waterfalls, the tune of water joyfully playing with itself filling their ears, the light reflecting off the dance it made, but it was so subtle on this night, only careful eyes could see it.
Yes, Yojimbo was headed to the edge. They have been traveling south and to the west, where the trees started to grow thin as they came closer to where he wished to be. Yes, the trees cleared out, and before them was nothing but a grassy plain. The smell of salt began to fill the air, and it should be quite obvious where they were headed. The cliffs that met with the ocean were ahead, but Yojimbo knew, close by, near the Diveen and Glorall border, there was a small beach. They would not go there yet, no, for now, the dark male ran across the grassy earth , turning his head back to look at Moth was a comforting, and very soft smile, before turning back.
He slowed only feet before the cliffs fell into the sea. The sound of waves crashing against the rocks of earth lulled them on this very night. He waited for Moth to come to a halt like he, his breathing heavy yet rather calm for what it was, his endurance really shining through. He knew Moth was older, and it may have been quite a run for her, but he had confidence in her abilities. She may or may not be tired, but as Yojimbo always thought, getting the blood rushing through your veins tends to help heal a broken heart and soul, with a little tender love and care. The male with light silver markings under his blue eyes nudged her shoulder slightly, before stepping close to the edge of the cliff. It is then that the wind hit him, air flowing through his growing winter coat. Ah, yes, he heard the ocean as it sung to them, beckoning them to play, but what is it that Moth hears? Does she see that the ocean is talking to her? He takes in a deep breath, closing his eyes for a moment. The ocean was much more...mysterious than any other thing. It is one thing he could never explore, never know. He was not equipped with the ability to travel it, and yet, he feels he knows it very well, and it calls to him to return. He opens his eyes again, looking out to where the horizon fades to a complete haunting black, in an endless world ahead. It was then he turned back to Moth.
"To both of us, it speaks. The song of waves, do you listen to it? Listen, for it wishes for you to sing."
Yojimbo looked upon her, not knowing if she would hear what he was hearing, and yet, Yojimbo could not resist the urge swelling up inside of him. He could only look upon her for a moment, taking in her expression, before he slowly lifted his muzzle out to sing. His voice is so deep, yet so soothing. He sings in harmony with the crash of waves below, a song hinted with melancholy and yet, in the end joy. He knew to release all that was may be weighing him down, through the song, and let the ocean absorb it fully. Will Moth join him? He did not linger on the thought, but it did cross his mind. He would sing for her, if she did not, and maybe, she wasn't meant to be here to sing, soon he would find out what Moth is to do.
