During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The fae didn’t seem to be phased by Aindreas’ inability to speak in full sentences, her own vocals ringing out after a few moments with his silence. I am Magic, from Aurora Borealis. My…alpha has requested me to come here and offer a peace offering between Munashii Gekko and Aurora Borealis. The fae nodded then, as if content with her words. “Well Magic, I regret to inform you that my Alpha, Serris, has taken a leave of absence from the packlands for the time being.” The white titan was going to continue on, but the fae’s own voice rang out once more and Aindreas stilled his maw and the rest of his body, a statuesque form in the pale light of the moon. Oh, yes. And my leader has also said that one of your teens, Kobato, has been to Aurora and has requested to… heal wolves, I believe. Aindreas found himself nodding as she spoke – the fae that she was describing definitely matched Kobato’s description. “That fae left our grounds a few months ago – we have been searching for her. Serris was… upset, to say the least, at her departure. I thank you for the information. I shall be sure to pass it on to Serris when he returns, along with the alliance that your Alpha is offering. Serris will most likely want to meet directly with Kalgalath to discuss the terms if he is interested, thank you. By the way, were you by any chance the one who dropped by the border before hand? I must have just missed you on my patrol.” Aindreas turned on his haunches, ready to return back to his sleep, his mind already beginning to return to the dream that he had been awoken from. A dream of a white fae…

My alpha, Kalgalath has…requested me to say…who met me at the border. I just assumed it would be Serris, and indeed it appears that you are not him. Therefore, in order to carry out my orders, would you tell me your name? Aindreas paused midstride, all of his muscles frozen in their forward motion. The name she had spoken was ringing in his head over and over again. The name of the familiar scent that he had picked up upon Magic’s pelt, the one he had thought that he must be imagining, the one that had stayed his voice… Kalgalath. Aindreas inhaled sharply, realizing that he had been holding his breath. Slowly, he turned around, his icy gaze laying upon the fae, his orbs slitted. “Kalgalath didn’t only send you here for the first two missions, nor did he ask for my name, did he?” Kal had not raised him to be dim-witted or slow. Though he had little to no social skills, or any experience when it came to matters of the heart, he was an expert at reading wolves.

He found my scent upon Kobato, and sent you here, didn’t he? He couldn’t face me himself, could he? After he left me here all those years ago? All that shit he tried to teach me about loyalty, and he left me!” The brute’s voice raised in volume as his monologue continued, his hackles erecting themselves. The white titan shook his head trying to get a bearing the situation. “You KNOW who I am, Magic of Aurora Borealis. Say my name. Say the name that Kalgalath uttered to you when he sent you here.
