The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

The young femme didn't really stay still much; there was currently nothing for her to do around the lands of Abentrot, and no one who needed her. She wasn't overly eager to leave the territory, but if she hung around much longer she was going to go insane. Well, more so. With that resolution, the russet femme fatale started off at a brisk pace, mind sifting through what she was planning on doing today. Not being useful was a bit out of her element, so Aerten was really going to have to use her imagination here.

A waft of unfamiliar scents as she travelled away from Abentrot, young and old alike. She wasn't very interested in them, nor their company. Most the time all they did was drone on about their pathetic lives and problems, and in the end, she was nearly dead from boredom. The only reason she really felt the need to interact outside her pack was it someone could be potentially used to her advantage, and even wolves like that were far and in between. The little bird she had encountered on her last expedition had a different purpose; she merely provided entertainment. That was really all Aerten had to say looking back on the matter.

Russet stilts had eventually carried her subconsciously towards one of the more admirable places of Blossom: the caverns. Aerten always preferred places like this, where the mind had time to fester and tick away in the darkness and solitude provided. Plus, any wolves you met up there were unlikely to be the simpering fools found playing around in flowers and what not. Sometimes the stupidity of it all hurt her head. Up ahead, the gaping maw of the caverns beckoned to her, provoking a small smirk to momentarily cross her face. Who knew what the day held?

Aerten wasn't a particularly friendly wolf; upon first meeting, she had a kind of silent agreement with her leader that there was not much purpose to alliances and "friendships", especially when it involved lowering yourself to the level of your little "friend". Her mind was constantly at work, picking apart conversations and collecting pieces of information that would prove useful in later ventures. That said, the femme wasn't above getting her paws dirty, as told by a rather devious scar across her muzzle. Though she may be smaller than say, a male opponent, the femme was still well-muscled, and she had an advantage over dumb brutes looking for some easy bloodshed; Aerten had a mind, a very clever one at that.

The cavern she entered was fairly dark, the advances of light halted by a line of ebony. Slipping inside, her auds and amber portals scanned the area for potential dangers, before she settled ever so slightly. Not enough to be caught unaware however. The outside was muffled here in her own little world, leaving only the click of claws against the stone floors, her relaxed breaths, and the sound of a heart strumming steadily in the chest of the russet fae.
