First half is pretty flat a few small inclines coming out of brackley, continuing along to stanhope (approximately 10Km mark), then hitting the confederation trail at approximately the half marathon distance. Trail is about 13 km it is flat. After you come off the trail there is the hill by the airport on Sherwood Road to contend with but you get to go downhill first then up hill so its not too bad ( Plus I do believe this is where the chocolate stop usually is haha). The final 6/7 km are straight down University avenue with two hills one coming up to the Charlottetown mall and then one coming up to the University for the last 3 km. These hills aren't particularly hard but they come at an annoying time in the race. That being said if you have run Halifax you will be fine as Halifax is a much tougher course!
