Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Honestly, the girl's silence was only a little concerning - he couldn't remember if she'd always been so damn quiet, but he could not withhold his chuckle as her lip twitched up in agitation. He quirked a brow, smirking smugly to himself - so, he had hit a nerve? That was pleasant, he thought, at least he wasn't going to be paddling about in agitation by himself. Even bloodied and bruised, he managed to look as overly confident as ever, his ears flickering back smugly and his tail twitching behind him as he glanced away to once more take to his wounds. Oh, if she wanted to play then he'd play but seemingly, she was better at playing the silent card at least. It was a good thing he had nothing to hide - if she was indeed a snitch for Diveen then let her be so. What had he to hide? He'd abandoned most, if not all, of his family, had abandoned Iromar and had even been courteous enough to keep his mate's hungry eyes from Diveen. For that alone, he'd humor her.

Any publicity was good publicity after all, right?

"Why wouldn't it be my business? Why are you so hesitant to answer such a question? Feeling a little guilty, are we - or perhaps you're hiding something, hm?"

He rose then, both brows raised in question as he began to hobble forward and by her - he'd continue on in such a slow pace, passing her an over the shoulder glance in expectation that she would follow. If she did not then so be it, but as far as he was concerned, he needed to get back to the Western Crater as soon as he could. As he took a few steps from her, her question caught up to him and he shook his head slowly, chuckling wholeheartedly as he twisted back to face her with a surprisingly jovial smile. Oh, now he was amused! She was right after all, or had been at least. Caligula and he had fast lost interest in Iromar and the wolves within it, the failure that seemed to follow their family there as a plague and, well, there was a myriad of reasoning behind their decision.

"How long have you been trapped in Diveen, girl? Iromar belongs to Ishtar and those that followed her; my mother is a disgraced Queen once more. There is nothing in that pack for I or my family - I, we, seek somewhere much less... stuffy. The mountain pack, for example, or perhaps your very pack if we so desire."

He winked then, toying with her even if he had dismissed the idea some time ago - he could not be bothered to deal with the legion of loyalists that dwelt within such a pack, anyway. Spirane was small, quiet - he figured it'd be easier to control such a pack, to start practically from scratch. He turned back then to continue on his slow journey, continuing to chuckle ever so quietly beneath his breath.

"And weren't you supposed to be slaying demons by now, hm?

What a fun encounter, perhaps he'd have to seek the girl out more often if he ever found himself bored.
