The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

can you hear that wonderful sound?
The Ferris wheel has started, now we’re stuck going round and round…

The appropriateness of the setting was just too convenient for Carnival to disregard. It was perfect in the sense that its crevices cupped perfectly the darkness, a black languidness that had her questioning in the recesses of her mind if the moisture at her paws was run-off or blood. For they had always murmured the word secret as though it was a curse...

It was due to no special genius that the wolfess knew that she was not alone in this glorified honeycomb imprinted on the mountainside. Echoes danced fleetingly at her audits, causing her to snap her pearls in more anger than fear. No, she did not know fear, or had only known it when the night had fallen among other stones, and she’d stood with her back to fate. That fear was different, but branded all the same. She craned her neck over her shoulder to look out of the chink of light afforded to her by the twist she had followed deeper into the cavern at the low ceilings. The sun was setting, casting gilded rays to scatter the darkness at the yawning entrance. There it stayed, melting over the weather-worn guardians of the cool interior, where Carn stayed swathed in a sense of timelessness, though she’d been there since morning. Just standing, curling her lip at the echoes, and snarling loud enough to make some of her own.

The only reason that she’d come was because of her anger. Who knew what it was about Blossom Forest, but Carn had been on edge ever since she’d arrived. The thought of returning to Malignant really didn’t appeal to her just yet. She slipped into a sitting position, her eyes closed though not tired in the slightest. A creature of stone herself, the wolfess leaned into the biting edges and enticing dark of the cavern walls, and with every small puncture, another of her secrets began to bleed out.
