Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

just underneath the skin

I…have not been well behaved lately. My mother is not best pleased, which puts me in the doghouse. My little stunt with the angel, Katsumi, has dug me a deep hole – it will take quite some time to emerge. I am not so young that my antics are seen as comical or forgivable. I am an adult now, and no one will suffer the consequences but me. It is a lesson I’ve struggled to learn, and, should I survive this latest blunder, it will not be one that I forget.

I am Demon, after all. And not just any Demon: I am Baphomet’s son. Ishtar’s son. The Demon King and his Blood Mouth. Maybe not their youngest, or their oldest, or even their chosen, but I am their son. While those special places have been reserved for others, I will have to create one for myself. Perhaps my path will be more difficult – see the challenge Fate has sent me in the form of the little black angel! – but I am capable of walking it. And I aim to prove it.

I have screwed around long enough.

My path back to Iromar’s favor begins with this trip to Glorall. Honestly, I know little about it, though my blood-shot eyes are quick and observant as I follow Lillith toward the land of salt and sea. I carry myself as befitting my rank: at the rear of our trio, behind the Stygian, of course, and behind Iromar’s heir, Zaqar, my youngest brother. I have no illusions about my place. My pack mates may not formally know me as an omega, but I am probably the lowest on the totem pole right now. A Demon does not simply imprint on an angel and get away with it – I will be watched.

We three settle beneath the shade of a tree, our black coats melting into the afternoon shadows. Zaqar settles to Lillith’s right, as befitting his station I suppose, and I take a seat at her left hand, eyeing the land that spreads itself beyond us. When my sibling takes it upon himself to raise his voice, I follow suit, eager to show that I know my place now, that I can do what is expected of a Demon. My pride will have to take a backseat if I am to stay amongst my family and peers. I join Zaqar’s call – come forward Glorall, meet the Iromar wolves and see what we have to offer.
