At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

 A look of horror swept over the male’s features as the young lass he had addressed let loose a startled bark and tumbled over the edge of the boulder. His body was thrown into the air as the lass struggled, frantically scraping her claws on the surface of the rock trying to keep herself from falling; which despite her hardest efforts failed miserably. Icy orbs watched as the lady collided with the freezing aqua a shocked expression masking her feminine features. A knot of guilt travelled up the young male’s throat as the femme disappeared into the calm water of the lake and despite his deepest instincts to turn and run away he padded closer to the water’s edge. His lanterns searched the water for the blackened mistress who seemed to be struggling under the surface for the briefest of seconds before she emerged above the surface in an explosion of water. Coughing and spluttering sent the lad backwards in a mild frenzy. Growing up in solitary for most of his life had done nothing for his already nervous personality and though living on his own had better equip him for being without a family it had also been a downfall. He was now a more nervous aggressive and tended to stay in the shadows, watching life flash by from the sidelines. However with this female, he was different. There was something about her that made him feel normal... Like he actually belonged. She appeared to be just as anxious and submissive as he was and it made him feel comfortable. It was then that he realised the lass had composed herself enough to turn her attention on the gatecrasher. He lowered his head slightly as her own electric blue eyes fell on his though the embarrassment that gleamed in her eyes made his ears perk slightly. The female soon hauled herself out of the water shaking the remaining liquid off her pelt. It was now that Hachi could see her full colouration though it was matted and ruffled as expected. The colouration on her legs had returned to its natural white giving her an appearance that the lad hadn’t seen before. His own siblings, if he remembered correctly, were a mix of colours but he found the mistress to be a rather charming sight to the eyes. Sorry. I'm Blaze... The lad’s ears perked in response to the slight whimper and submissive notion of tucking her tail between her limbs. For a few moments silence overcame the two, the atmosphere so tense it could have been cut with a knife. She appeared to be waiting for him to reply but Hachi just couldn’t find the words to say. He knew that if he said something without thinking it would be curt and nasty and was definitely no way to speak to the already flustered maiden. ’Uh...How are you? The lad shuffled nervously as he realised what he must have done to the lass. Both appeared to be extremely nervous and he couldn’t see this conversation going anywhere fats. His eyes found the female once again and he managed to concoct a serious of different sentences, all of which ended badly in his mind. Finally he blurted out a jumble of words and hoped that the stringy sentence would make sense. ”My apologies miss. I, ummm, I never meant to startle you.” It appeared that for now that was all he could manage. Instead he took to gazing about his surroundings trying to discover the nearest exit should this meeting turn nasty that was until his mothers words echoed in his mind. Manners mean everything. Once again his eyes fell on the lass and unlike before he offered a small smile despite his usual nature. ”I’m Hachi and I guess I’m okay.” Though the sentence was more than he would usually input, his words were laced with fear and a slight stoic tone. ______________________________ “This is how I came to be,” he replied. ||Hachi||Cai & Vukan ||Lover to None||Caretaker to None||Adolescent||Male ||Saw Tooth||xhollowremains. |
