she had not expected to find him again. sure she wished to, ached to- needed to; but still, she had not expected it to be so. and so when he emerged from around the curve of the cave she was now in, her breath was taken from her. bright citrine eyes are focused completely and utterly upon him as he approaches, taking in his entire frame and memorizing all of it for the second time in her life. she did not know what it was, but there was something about this stranger that drew her to him. and she did not even know his name.
'it's you.' the words were a whispered hush, and caused her ears to strain forward to catch it all. a small, sly grin spread across her slender muzzle as words so easily dripped from her jaw. her voice was soft, quiet- soothing, all honey just as it was the very first time they had truly met. "why, yes- i do believe it's me. the one and only." her words were accompanied by a slight smirk up at him, her skull tilting ever so slightly to the left side as well. gazing up at him quietly, she wondered who he was, why he had such an affect on her- and if he had purposefully sought her out. the simple thought set her heart hammering.
tilting her jaw ever so slightly then to the right, she continued to stare at the boy with ever bright golden highlighted eyes, her interest plainly obvious and unabashed. "who are you?" as always, ren was blunt, not afraid to speak her mind and what happened to come to it in any given moment. she did not fear the wolf before her- she more so wondered about him more than anything. she wanted to know what this was, what he was, who he was. she didn't bother to get up as she waited for his reply- she was far too comfortable and more than unwilling to disrupt that.
almost absently, she wondered if he would join her, continue on his way, or just stand there. all of her hoped that he would join her, perhaps in lounging and simply talking to her. this was a nice secluded area, they were alone, and so she would not have to concern herself with prying eyes or eavesdropping ears. it was the way she had always liked it, especially when dealing with someone of this.. matter. whatever this matter was. ren did not know, nor did she particularly focus on it. instead, she watched the boy before her, more than eager him speak once again.
