Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

As I'm speaking to the boy, asking him completely logical questions, suddenly I'm cut off by movement. Viora? I look her way, only to see her about to pounce on the stranger! Oh no! My eyes widen as I shake my head quickly. What is she thinking? This is no time for violence! He could only want to play or talk! But of course, sister doesn't listen.

The boy looks at me and laughs like there's something funny but I see nothing funny going on. I look around, ears flickering uncertainly before looking back at him in curiosity. What is there to be laughing about? My tail stops wagging for a moment. Surely he's not laughing at me. That's not very nice, first off. And Second off....well, it's just rude. I frown slightly and then he starts speaking. He tells me that his language is better and that he had a bath this morning. He's about to say more but Viora cuts him off by launching at him. I tried to stop her but it did nothing and he rolls out of the way. Whoa. That was pretty cool. My eyes widen as everything starts to go to pieces. The boy suddenly readies himself to launch back at my sister. Oh no! I bark at him, my tail arching up.

"No, stop that! Don't hurt her; she didn't mean anything by it!"

My hackles bristle. Why does everyone always resort to violence. I look at Viora now, imploring her.

"Sister, stop this! He wasn't laughing at me, he was laughing at...well, I don't know what he was laughing at but it wasn't me so you can stop now! He didn't mean what he said about the language; he knows that his didn't make any sense! He's sorry so please stop! No one has to get hurt! This is senseless!"

I jump around them frantically, barking at the top of my lungs, imploring, commanding, everything I can to get them to stop. Why must everyone be so physical?
