Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Father had left for war. Mother had run off to find Guardian, who had run away in his frustration for not being allowed to fight alongside Azrael. Starfall was not concerned with fighting for glory. Starfall, knew his father would be okay. He had talked to him about it, of course though, Azrael then later says they didn't talk about it, but Starfall knew they talked about it....in his dreams. His dreams were real though, at least to the one year old boy. They were as vivid as real life, sometimes even more so. He could hardly distinguish the difference, despite his parents trying to tell him the differences. It never helped. Today though, he had a chance to get away. Guardian was moody. Starfall knew it was...ignorant to wish to fight with wolves much larger and more experienced. Their parents were right to keep him behind. Guardian's moodiness gave Starfall the chance to escape the confines of the pack land. Sure, he wasn't supposed to leave, but Starfall didn't care. He was going to leave, and leave he sure did.

Starfall walked on midnight black paws. It had rained earlier in the day, with clouds still lingering above. Starfall allowed his opal eyes to gaze upwards, unsure if rain was to come later or not. One thing was certain, the sun was starting to fall behind the horizon. He should be at home in the den, but he isn't. Starfall is instead walking into swampier area of the midwestern crater.

He was already getting bored and irritated. Life was generally an irritating thing to the young boy. It was never ending. He never had a moment of rest, and it showed through his complete mess that is called fur. The thicker fur on his back is disheveled, allowed the russet undercoat on his spine to glow like embers as the sun sets behind him. Starfall wanted to leave the confines of Diveen, but for what reason? What is lingering out here? There had to be something more interesting than Diveen. There had to be something else to do.

The moody pup growled to himself as his star-touched tail lashed behind him. The swamp area he is walking into..smells funny. His face wrinkles slightly with the smell filling his nostrils. He had never been to an area like this before. His pupiless eyes of light blue, with flashes of pink and yellow, looked carefully at the trunk of a tree. It looked...strange, and he took a few steps closer with great interest. Suddenly, a lizard like creature dashed, knowing its cover was exposed. Starfall's heckles raised, and he barked once at the creature before giving a small chase. His paws scrambled to keep up, but he was so unaware of swamp terrain, and ultimately tripped on a high root. He fell to the ground with a thud, landing on his belly. He blinked, and a small snarl rumbled from his black lips. He turned his star-touched crown around to see the root, and the tree.

He narrowed his rather gorgeous eyes. Trees. They were all out to get him, he just knew it. They enjoy making fun of him, calling him a freak, and apparently not talking to anyone else. Father thought him crazy, although, Father did kill that one tree that made fun of him. Yeah. Starfall will have to show that tree who is boss, just like before. It seems like the only proper thing to do, when a tree intentionally trips you. The one year old boy scrambles to his feet, his large paws preventing a smooth and graceful rise. He turned to face the root and the tree, standing tall and impressive, at least for his age. Starfall puffed his star-touched chest, face showing his determination. And then he struck, his jaws parting to bite at the root that tripped him. He attempted to be like his dad, and even tried to scratch at it with his claws too. This root is rather...tough though, and apparently Starfall has his work cut out for him. It may take him a while to take care of this, and sadly, Father cannot come and help him this time. He will have to do it on his own.
