Well, she didn't run away with her tail tucked between her legs so that was a good sign. Zeteri did have to hold back a chuckle as she watched this new wolf puffed up and trip as she was startled by the large female's charge. Had she been ready and expecting an attack, maybe she wouldn't be caught off guard. The girl spoke, her voice full of anger and snarkiness. Perfect! This was just the sort of wolf Zeteri had been looking for. "I wouldn't say "pudgy" more like... unprepared." Zeteri said, taking a step back after the white wolfess bumped them together. It was clear she was ready for a fight now and the once princess didn't want to further anger her pack mate so she wouldn't listen. Laughing at her last words, she shook her head and sat down on her haunches.
"Trust me, if I wanted to make you mine you would have known it by now. No, I have been asked by our fearless leader to train some wolves in the art of combat. So, I picked you. And you look like you could use it." It wasn't meant to be an insult, or at least, not a big one. But Zeteri had noticed the way her new companion had been walking along the borders. She didn't seem to be awear of her surroundings, didn't even realize Zeteri was coming until it was far too late. What would have happened if this had been an attack from an enemy? Zeteri looked her up and down seeing that there was potential for improvement and that her body did have the muscles for it. Yes, she would be perfect in helping her get a higher rank.
With a nod of her head, Zeteri stood up again and started to move past her new friend. "Yep, you're perfect. Come on, we have a lot of work to do and not a whole lot of time to do it. Oh, I'm Zeteri, by the way. What should I call you, sweetie?"
