Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

If it had not been for her quirky, yet gentle nature, Rose would have been called by another name entirely. Serenity; it was the energy of her existence, she radiated it and encouraged others to adopt such a wonderful way of being. There was very little within this world that she did not see as beautiful or magnificent in its own extraordinary way and to her, each individual had a goodness in their heart.

Autumn was now beginning to give way to the grasp of winter, yet it would not go easily. The sun still warmed her back as she strode through the barren forest, the leaves of the trees now fallen to coat the earth in an array of red, orange, and yellow. The display was a wondrous sight to behold and simply brought a smile to her features as she jogged smoothly onward. She had no purpose for being here other than to find her own den to come for sleep and safety. The blue eyed beaut had yet to make any plans for finding a suitable pack, though she was sure that she would make a decision soon, but as for now she was content with living alone.

There was another treading through the woodland though and the wolfess was quickly intrigued as to who and where they may be going. Perhaps they could advise on her current living situation or maybe aide her in finding the perfect spot for her home. She lifted her head to search for the stranger, her height being at an obvious disadvantage when it came to the tall shrubbery within the forest, yet did not see a soul around. Hmm. Her direction was shifted as she tried to seek out the other canine and it was then that the others scent finally caught in the slight breeze. If it had not been for that fact, Rose would have certainly tripped over the lounging lupine!

She halted herself quickly as her eyes layed upon the deathly skinny wolfess and her head pulled back as she examined the drifter with a surprised yet worried expression. Her body relaxed after a moment and she took a few steps closer to investigate, fearful of discovering that the poor femme had passed. The only sign of life came from the faint bobbing of her body as she layed silently in the bed of autumn leaves and in that moment, Rose's lungs could finally breathe again.

The old dame was in terrible condition and perhaps on death's door as the three year old maneuvered around her so that she was now facing the resting wolf. She reminded her so much of her own grandmother and that was likely the reasoning as to why she had stopped to greet the elder. "Are you all-right?" The girl spoke tentatively and with soft tones as she reached out to lift her muzzle beneath the senior's. Her eyes never left the marvelous mixture of the female's own.
