Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

He nods at her smile, and Vera finds herself oddly relaxed. Completely gone is the odd phase of exhaustion she had been going through when first coming upon Heart. Silently, she cursed herself for letting herself get to that point, but with her continual rest, her strength was coming back more and more. It would not be long before she could get up and finally make her way back to Iromar. She trusted her senses enough to lead her back to her kin, and so the thought wasn't of too much concern to her. Instead, her focus was on the boy before her. This Heart, this strange, oddity of a wolf. There was no hint to fear or annoyance within him, as sapphire irises studied him intently. Something told Vera that Heart knew exactly what she was- but that it did not bother him. Normally the black female would call any wolf that does not fear a Demon a fool, but she knew this wolf was not a fool. No. He did not speak, nor act as one. If he had, the flame marked female would not still be here. She would be long gone, more than probably back in Iromar for awhile at this point. But here, with this black false demon she remains.

His red streaked tail, so similar to her own, gives a slight wag after letting her know that he feels no need to be not relaxed. This gains another quirked brow in reaction from Vera, a slight half-smirk creeping across her muzzle as a soft chuckle dripped from her lips. The action hurt her side a bit, but she gritted her teeth and endured the pain. It was her nature, after all. When Heart rests his muzzle down upon his forelegs, still watching her, a sudden term comes into the Demon's head that normally would not. 'Adorable. If the wolf was anything before her at that moment, it was that. She wanted to move over and touch him, to nuzzle him and cuddle him- which was completely and utterly against her policies. What was wrong with her? Perhaps the blood loss was still taking it's toll? Or maybe she had finally cracked and was indeed going insane. Shaking her skull slightly, she eyed him for a moment before bringing her own black muzzle down to rest upon her paws. Watching him silently she took in his words, before speaking once more.

I'm new to this land, though I'm not old. Pausing once again to consider her next words, she took her sweet time. Though she knew she should be getting back to Iromar, she did not want to get up- at least, just not yet. Beside, what could more rest do for her but a bit of good? And she had one thing she had to know before she did. Do you live anywhere?
