Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Living as the other half of another being is something that many could not begin to comprehend; when they hurt, you do as well, when you are apart, you cannot help but feel an emptiness. It is the only thing Aela has ever known and has been able to comprehend; she knew that she needed Aelisu more than anything. When she saw her sibling come bounding towards her, it took every ounce of will-power in her body not to bounce around like a pup again as she greeted her twin.

That was not her character, she was the emotionally strong, independent, serious one - the one who held things together in all manners. Yet, she allowed the soft wagging of her ashen tail and smiled as their sentences meshed together in sync as they both spoke. Aelisu moved in to lick excitedly along her larger sister's jaw and Aela merely stood with her tail continually wagging in a gentle manner. "What's so interesting about the water?" She quirked her head to the side as Aeli explained what she had been doing just moments earlier. Aelaera would not concern herself any further on her sister's whereabouts before now, it was in the past, and she knew they would not be separated again for quite some time now.

Moments later, she was directing herself towards the lake where Aeli had just romped from and peered into its shallow depths for a short while, realizing that she was looking at herself. "Have you ever noticed..?" She did not finish her sentence, as she expected Aelisu would surely pick up on what she was implying. She had never truly looked back at herself when visiting a body of water and it intrigued her to no end as she slowly lowered her haunches down. The coal hued girl studied herself for what seemed like a century, every color shift in her fur, to the different colors of her eyes. She had always known what her paws looked like - other than that, she had simply assumed she was the carbon copy of Aelisu, when truly, she was an opposite reflection.
