The wind blew outside of the cave, sending a flurry of snow sailing into the opening. Some of the cold crystals landed on the tri colored pelt of a wolf who slept deep within the shadows alone. It had been a month since the war and Iblis was finally on the mend, his wounds all healing nicely. It was thanks to those wolves who had found him that he has survived the first week after that fierce battle, but most of all it had been Niviaq who had made it possible for Iblis' recovery. She had stayed with him for several days, hunting and providing healing when ever she could. They spoke quietly to each other while winter ravaged the land outside and reminised about days long passed in a world now dead and renewed. But she had a pack now and after a few days together, Niviaq left Iblis, feeling confident that the wolf could take care of himself now. The male had enjoyed her company and he knew she couldn't stay forever, but it still hurt to watch her leave. After all, Iblis is still a wolf and every wolf longed for the kinship that came with pack life. However, it was not meant to be for him. He had chosen his path, now his must follow it. Another gust of wind blew more snow into the cave and Iblis opened his eyes as a shiver spread throughout his body. Having thinner fur like his made winter a difficult time of year. It wouldn't be so bad if he had another to join him and at once his thoughts drifted to Rhae, his beloved. She was more than just his imprint. Their love had been sealed before the war, a love that confirmed them to be mates for life. Rhae was everthing to Iblis...

Another shiver took hold but this one was quite violent and it pulled at the healing wounds on Iblis' neck and shoulder. The bites on his legs had already healed and he was able to walk just fine again, but the damage on his upper half had been far worse. Lillith and Andras had made sure Iblis would never forget them, that was for sure. The pair had worked together to bring him down and even now the small male could remember them moving like one being. It was uncanny... But by sheer force of will Iblis was able to get away from death for surely if they had been given the chance the demon couple would have seen him die that day. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Iblis knew they wouldn't let him get away with what he had done and once again he would be wanted by the wolves of Iromar. Thus far he had been able to escape their clutches, but how long would his luck last? He wasn't getting any younger and he feared his blood would be wanted for the rest of his life. And it seemed that this night would be when Fate punished the warrior and his luck ran dry.

Like a shadow, she came for him. He trail wasn't exactly hard to find and Iblis was alone and weak. Now was the perfect time to strike and like the true demon she was, Lillith didn't hessitate. Iblis couldn't even put up a fight and she was able to subdue him and drag him over the snow back to the land of Iromar. Iblis wouldn't go willingly, he was forced. Stolen. For the first time in countless years, Iblis felt truly afraid for his own life. Little did he know it was more than his life on the line right now. Lillith shoved him roughly which caused the smaller male to fall face first into the snow with a sharp yelp of pain as his shoulder wound reopened. Blood spilled from the bite, nothing as bad as it had been, but the scent of blood was sure to draw others. Iblis tried to stand but Lillth stood over him and used a heavy paw to keep him held down to the snow. It seemed she was bound to humliate him and Iblis didnt have the strength to fight back. The scared warrior just laid there, broken, but he was not defeated. A deep growl rumbled from Iblis' chest, but it was cut off as Lillith pressed on his back with her claws jaming into his flesh and cutting off air to his lungs. She was much bigger than he was and could easily do what she wanted with him now. Iblis waited now. He waited to see who would show up to his punishment, who would deliver the punishment, and what the punishment would be. For surely, it would come. Iblis was greatful for one thing. Rhae was safe from harm... or was she?
