The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

"Why do you have to be so different?!"

He felt her tears slide into his fur, and suddenly felt numb. He stood there mumbling sweet nothing's to her and continuing to nuzzle against her neck reassuringly, but it felt empty and meaningless to him. He'd changed to much for her... He was just a shell, the addiction and need for his Eoccian Flowers having hollowed him out into a loveless thug.

The realizations hit Skid hard, and he nearly collapsed under the weight of the truth. The only thing that kept him standing was the pressure on his neck where the love of his life was mourning the loss of his soul. Tor had said something else by this point, but he hadn't heard her at all, and simply backed up a step or two once she'd almost stopped crying.

"Please stop that... I might force my addiction on you as it looks like you need it worse than I..." he was speaking mainly to himself, but held eye contact with the femme before him. Why was he so desperate for her? Damn, he'd nearly killed himself when she disappeared, and now they found each other and all she'd done was complain about the changes in him. Was there nothing left? Nothing good?

Then she told him to continue on, and he nodded slowly, and stepped forward to lick her muzzle playfully before turning away and heading through the crevice that led to his cavern.

When they arrived he was greeted by the thick, alluringly tangy scent of the Eoccain flowers. Averting his eyes and thoughts he studied the suddenness of the change from tiny crevice to giant, almost spherical cavern where he pretty much lived. But of course, his eyes wandered to the flowers themselves.

They looked utterly beautiful, royal purple petals shining in the bright sunlight that steamed in through a crack in the stone just above them. The moss they grew off of was a bright, temping green, that caught the sun perfectly and let the whole plant look like it had some sort of holy glow surrounding it.

It took all of skid will power to walk away from them to curl up on a flat-ish stone platform on the opposite side of the cavern. He fixed his eyes back on Tornado, staring longingly at her and nodding shyly toward the place beside him.

"So this is where I'd suggest you stay if you wanna hide out with me. I know easy ways to food and water, and anyone else who knows about this place stays away as it is... Well guarded."
