Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

All That I See, Absolute Horror

Azula kept a careful eye on her pups as the family made their way through the wilderness. She knew how vulnerable they still were, even though they were growing up. She smiled inwardly when she heard her son check on his sister, asking if she was alright. The warrior femme was proud of her son for being so protective over her daughter. She turned with concern in her eyes as she heard Corde’s shaky response, Yeah-h. Do...do you think they'll go away soon?" Azula wished there was something she could do to lessen her daughter’s fears, but she knew the family had a haunting past that would follow them forever. Felan responded with words that Azula hoped would comfort Corde, ”They won’t hurt you sis, I’ll look after you.” Azula suggested they stay at the ground as Kyron responded, "I just thought we'd show them the top, but the bottom is good too. Corde, Felan, let's find a place to rest first. Then you can play in the snow." She would agree with him if the pups were a little older, she still worried about them getting hurt.

After the family decided to stay at the bottom of the mountain and search for a cave Azula told her pups about the snow, hoping it would give them some fun with all the seriousness that had been going on lately. "It...it won't hurt me? It's safe to play with?" Before she had a chance to respond Felan was speaking up, ”Corde. Nothing will hurt you while I am here, promise.” She smiled at her daughter, “Of course it is, see?” The femme pushed her brown muzzle into the snow, flicking it up playfully, making the snow fall down on them, showing them that it really was harmless. She wagged her tail and barked playfully at her pups, actions that they alone would see come out of her. Felan stated that he wanted to play as he ran through the snow, slipping on its new surface, as he nuzzled into her leg. She reached down and playfully bumped him, wanting him and his sister to have fun in the snow. He called to his sister as he ran circles around Kyron, yipping happily.

Kyron led the family to a cave, sitting his black paws down in front of the entrance. Azula went over to join him, her tailing touching his shoulder reassuringly. Kyron addressed the pups, "You may go play now. I might just join you..." The thought of Kyron playing in the snow with the pups made her laugh as she lay down in the snow, watching her pups play. He wagged his tail playfully as the brute jumped into the snow with the two pups. Azula finally relaxed for a moment, not taking her guard down for a second, but her mind was not as stressed as it had been after they had first run away. She sighed, hoping that they could make a home here soon. A scent reached Azula’s nares suddenly, a scent she never wanted to experience again in her lifetime. She was on her paws in seconds, a snarl already escaping her maw, ivories glistening sharply in the sun.

She ran towards her pups playing in the snow as vocals ripped from her throat, “Corde, Felan, in the cave, NOW!” Azula spoke quickly to them, making them understand the situation was serious and that she was not kidding around. She hoped that if she could smell her father and uncle approaching then Kyron had as well since his scent was more heightened than hers. The warrior stood protectively in front of her pups, fur bristling and a steady growl coming from deep within her. As the scent grew stronger memories came swarming back into her mind, memories of blood and pain and death. Maybe she wanted to see her father. She wanted to see him so she could rip his perfect ivory throat out, wanting to watch the crimson blood stain his body. Thoughts of putting her father through the pain that he had put her through calmed her a bit; she needed to have her head clear to protect her family. She would not let the filthy beast hurt her beautiful pups. The femme knew she was strong enough to take on the brute; she had fought many adult males before and had always come out on top. She would take it slow with him though, he did not deserve a quick death, quite the opposite actually. This wasn’t something the femme had discussed with Kyron, but she hoped he felt the same way, and they could take turns holding him down while tearing his white bodice apart, limb by limb.

The powerful girl shook her head, staring into the trees, waiting to see who would make their appearance first. Ludwig, her uncle, stepped through first. She did not hate him as much as her father, but she was not pleased with him either. He may have tried being nicer to them, but that was only when their father wasn’t around, and he never did anything to try and stop the madness that her father had forced her and so many others to do. The multi-colored warrior didn’t change her stance at all, looking as ferocious as ever, as he addressed Kyron, "Hallo? Herr Kyron?" Why is he only addressing Kyron, does he not see me here? Now she was really annoyed. “What do you want Ludwig, why are you here?” She spat the words out, ending them with a deep and menacing growl, showing him that if he didn’t speak up and tell her what he wanted that she would rip his throat out, along with her father’s.

Then he walked through the trees, Gilber, her father. He growled and glared in Ludwig’s direction, but all her uncle did was roll his blue eyes and nod his head slightly. Azula was shocked to see Gilbert back up a bit, Why is Ludwig calling the shots? She was very confused, was this some kind of good cop bad cop routine to try and get them to come back to the old pack with them? Well whatever they were doing she wasn’t falling for it. If they didn’t tell them what they wanted she would waste no time lunging into her attack.
