Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

I fell in love with a shooting star

This girl sure did smile a lot. And laugh. Starfall couldn't help but think that she may be laughing at him, just like the birds. But how could she team up with the birds? That would just like ignorant! What was so amusing though? His mind had begun to tick about it, mulling over the possibilities. He wasn't around others so often, especially others who smile and laugh so much. His own siblings never acted this way either. His face only echoed his thoughts with the slightest of brow lift, before he wandered over towards the plant she was trying to get out of the ground.

His charcoal ear flickered in her direction as she mentions that she has indeed tried it. He wiggled his nose at the plant, curious to if it really works. He wasn't about to make himself sick just to figure it out though, but it was nice to know for the future. Starfall had never really considered being a healer. His focus was on figuring out this whole Dream Walker business that his mother talks about. However, knowing how to not have a tummy ache is good information.

"Well, I guess I know what to eat if I feel bad" he said simply, not really knowing what to say. His dark black paws, large due to his still growing frame, continue to dig at the base of the plant. Once he finds a root, he snorts and lets out on 'ha'.

"Yeah, you dig and find the root! Then you can scratch and bite at those all around the base. It will be much easier. Just watch out, sometimes...sometimes roots will try to trip you, or try to suck you into the ground. They look...pretty tame right now. Trees are usually the worst..." he mentioned, his hazed over eyes glancing back towards the female to catch her fascinated eyes and wagging tail. He found himself...staring for a moment, something about her telling him to stare. He still did not realize that his words would likely be a bit odd to the female, that roots do not grasp and attack wolves in reality. Yet as he gazed upon her, there was something in the trees that did not wish them to have an easy time.

The birds were not done. Pesky little things. A particularly large, black bird with sleek wings had thrust itself from the branches of the nearby trees. As Starfall looked at Chickadee, a small smile growing on his lips, the bird began to fly down towards him from behind. Starfall was particularly oblivious in this moment, rather taken with the situation. The black bird was fast as it came down from behind Starfall, and opened its giant claws. It was only a matter of seconds before it would land, and little did he know that there were more coming from the twisted wasteland of tree branches.
