Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

apollonia
After her trip to Blossom Meadows, the fae had turned her sights to the peak that held such beautiful and romantic memories for so many. But it was not the same for her, for the last and only time that she had been there, she had fallen from the cliff trying to get away from the hurtful words that had fallen from the lips of Lolita. The ess who Apollonia had thought was her friend had told her that she did not care for her father. That she didn’t want Apollonia. That she didn’t lover Lycaon, Apollonia’s father. Apollonia would be motherless forever it seemed.

Her original set of parents were gone and unknown to her – when Lycaon had found her she had recently awoken in a river and she had amnesia – no memories of her past. Lycaon had become her world, but as soon as she had met Lolita it had been apparent how dear Lycaon and Lolita felt about each other. Apollonia had tried gently to push them together but had met resistance at every turn. Still, she had been hopeful and had continued on with her path, and had even been plotting with Lokii to figure out how to get them together. And finally she had confronted Lolita, and that had been when Apollonia had fallen. Fallen off of the cliff to a ledge below, her head pounding and her recent memories stripped away.

They had returned to her by the time she had returned to Cold Summers but little did she know that her memories from before… before Lycaon… would return. They were returning now, though Apollonia did not know it. For now, they were kept within her subconscious, wrecking her night and her sleep with dreams or rather nightmares.

And so she had crept up the cliff, her claws unsheathed to prevent her from slipping down the steep slope of the rock face. The last time that she had crept up it, she had been reduced to gasps and tremors at the top by exhaustion. Apollonia smiled to herself – she was now barely out of breath, such shape she was in, but her smile was wan and thin. The bad memories came sweeping back and she let loose a single tear, all of a sudden feeling utterly alone.
