At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

The water was cooling off. Cooling off to the point where many wolves did not want to swim in it because it would be slightly chilly and cause a disturbance in their bodies. Perhaps only the wolves that took swimming seriously or for sport would lounge or practice in the cold water. No, cold was a little bit colder than how it was now. A good word would better place it; overcast. The water in the lake felt overcast. Canadian geese lifted off the ground and landed into the water from shore and landed gracefully, spraying water onto their colleagues a moment before they forgot about that it even happened; geese are not the smartest animals in the wilderness, but they pass by easily all the same. It was getting to be later in the day, afternoon not quite the proper word and evening not fitting either. Sickly raccoons were to be coming out soon, animals also of their nightly kind rousing from their dens so they could have an appropriate time to gather themselves up and brace the cold that was coming from outside. Maybe some of these animals were just starting to prepare for hibernation, it didn’t really matter. All that mattered was that their was a wolf making her way along the edges of the trees, sentinels guarding the forest from the creatures evolving in the cold.

The creamy colored fae darkened the farther down you laid your eyes upon her coat. At the tip of her ears she was a very light cream, but the end of her tail was a chocolate brown. However, from examination from far away, the bottom half of her was easily a darker color than the other half containing her head. She had a scar running along the length of her tail, a shape created by perhaps a honey badger or wolverine, the vixen could not remember which creature it was because the scar was old, and the lady was focusing on getting a couple newer ones (however if you really wanted to know, it was from a honey badger, despite whatever her persuading on it coming from a wolverine.). Her amber gaze folded lightly over the area and examined the trees and bushes and shrubs lying on the edge of the wood before dirt turned into sand and sand overlayed under the water. She started to move forward a little bit more, the grass escaping and dirt replacing it with a few stray clumps of sand. The vixen had been here maybe only once before, having passing over it to meet another wolf somewhere else. Unlike that time, the sand and dirt under her feet was overcast, instead of becoming a warm delight that swam in the pads of her paws. She looked up, wanting to find a place to rest or someone to sit by.

Now, this vixen did not really have a normal, polite attitude. She was snarky and sarcastic (the sarcasm always improving her mood), and didn’t care about others’ needs unless she really cared about that wolf. Her body language even hinted towards this type of personality. Other secrets also unfolded the more you talked to her, but sometimes she found herself making the weirdest kinds of friends. She looked up and saw the edge of the lake folding behind a huge boulder, and started to make her way towards it. She walked on the edge of the water, the sand molding into her paws and getting wet from the water underfoot. Her amber gaze jumped ahead of her, seeing a small entrance along the other side of the boulder. The vixen was starting to get curious, and wanted to get to the other side and see what little area, maybe even a little secret hideout or room, awaited her. However, there was a small problem she was only getting aware of; the end of the bolder was halfway down the shore and into the water, probably about around the shelf she knew was there. Wonderful, yes; wonderful.

The curiosity burned inside of her, and she decided the only way to get to the other side was to swim into the cold water. She walked slowly into the liquid, the cold starting to bite at the edges of her fur, making her way to where the water was halfway up her legs, and she started to shiver. The sand she knew in that room was not even warm, so there was no way that she would warm up before it was time to come back and tell the world of her new discovery. She started to back out out of the water and look around the big boulder, trying to find maybe a smaller, alternative entrance she could squeeze through. She looked around, the curiosity fueling her actions.

"Talking," and walking.
