Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

My c o l d desire
to hear the boom, boom,
b o o m of your heart

An easy birth had meant a quick recovery, while she loved her newest litter dearly they were old enough to leave alone for a few hours. Besides, she did not want her scent to overpower the area. A few years of being a loner had cemented some habits into her daily routine. She had yearlings that needed to be taught and continued to grow up but they were also a part of the pack now. She had hoped to introduce them properly to their newest siblings, to reassure them that they were worthy of being called Brother, and Sister but the oppurtune time had yet to show itself. Surely her girls would realize that the pure blood that ran through their veins was the same as that of Judas, Praetor and Vesper.

She trots along the borders, after all, it was Tesseract and Caligula's land that she was defending, that she was inspecting. She stopped suddenly. The wind shifted ever so slightly and she inhaled deeply. There was a scent that she recognized. Vidar. The unclean half brother that she had tried desperately to rip from this earth before his muddied bloodline could repopulate. Tesseract and Caligula were the only ones worthy--formed from a bonded pair. Theirs was the purest of blood. Theirs was the only one worthy. He was born of deciet and her Mother's short comings. There were two others with him but she did not worry about their presence. It was only Vidar's that she would chase off or end. The others would be welcome. Vidar was the last of her Mother's sullied. (Or at least, so she believed.)

Her stance moves into one of stalking, her head even with her body, her ears pricked forward and her tail was ridgid held high over her haunches. She crept forward, her mismatched eyes searching for sight of him. There was only individual that would stay her jaws. Tesseract was the only power that she would recognize to keep her vengeance from interrupting this perfectly lovely little love triangle. She silently growled, her lips edging up up to expose the pink of her gums. Caligula meant to finish that which she had been denied before but the question was, would Vidar's savior come again? Or would Caligula's wrath finally be saited? She advanced slowly, stalking him, ready to make her kill.
