 I nodded once more at the name that was offered to myself, Raki, this word placed within my memory, now and forever, for indeed it is that I have decided I will aim never to forget those I have met, for it cannot be said when such knowledge may be useful. Perhaps Raki will decide to stay in Taviora, perhaps not, even so I will not forget the large male, or that we have met and walked side by side, even for a short time such as this. I think such things should be remembered. Maybe it is, one day, that I will need such memories. It did not take Coza long to answer the call I gave, the snow white of my ears pricked forward at his approach as my own form lifted once more, tail waving low and smooth in greeting as it was my ears were given to fold back in the submissive gesture I have come to understand should be offered in the presence of an Alpha and his kin. I have seen this given to my Mother and myself many times and yet to offer it to another is a foreign thing all the same, though one I find comes easily enough when one is given to respect the male before them. I allowed a smile to grace the smoothness of my features a moment, red rimmed eyes finding Coza’s own gaze in this greeting though I offered no verbal return this day, before stepping back once more to present this wolf I had brought, to allow my chosen Alpha to view the large, powerful Raki. My own form stood perhaps slightly taller in this, taking a certain pride in having brought another to these lands for indeed, despite my youth I understand the need for numbers, the need for pack to be more than three and indeed perhaps I do not even count so very much as the others, my age does not allow for my strength to be a true asset yet, though in time I will assure that I am given take my share of such things, perhaps when it is that my paws are not given to be comical with their size and my chest and limbs do not hold ungainliness. It is true indeed that I seek to offer something to the land I have chosen to call my own and though I am not yet of an age to hunt true game, or to be taken seriously with acts of diplomacy or perhaps even viewed as an equal by adults….I have done that which perhaps I can, I have made some attempt to recruit another, to help my Alpha expand his pack for indeed there is little else I can offer just yet, my voice the only asset I can add to this cause and indeed I should be pleased if Raki should find place amongst us, a young pack, I think, could do well with one so large to guard it and protect it’s borders. I moved to seat myself once more beside the male of dark and cream, the violet blue of my gaze resting upon him a moment before returning to Coza, hoping indeed that I had pleased him this day, for I am assured this is what all pack must surely strive to do. “This is Raki, we met within the woodland, I explored it today and I have spoken of our pack to him, he desires to see it.” I spoke the words softly and smoothly once more, eyes moving from Coza to Raki and back. Perhaps this was a small mission, a small task and yet it is the first action I have performed as a wolf of pack and not a Prince and regardless of the outcome of this thing, I have some pleasure in myself today. 41in, 185lbs || Kane x Isola || Brother of Achilles, Sage, Forfax, Haziel, Ariel || Chaser of Taviora |
