Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

A small chuckle escaped the maw of the grey femme as the brute responded, sending a quick wink to her before moving away. Mae stayed still as Terrel surveyed the area, evidently looking for the best route for them to follow, one she hoped would bring an adventure. After a few moments he headed upwards. She waited a few moments, allowing him to test the rocks and make a few leaps, before she followed. She trusted his judgement and so followed him in quick bounds, not worried about the stability of the surfaces he’d already checked. With their builds suited to agility the pair made quick work of the run. Every now and then Mae found she had to pause and collect herself to be able to actually get across the gaps in the ledges, but none of those they crossed were beyond her capability.

The femme grinned when Terrel looked back, taking the opportunity to catch up. “Well, isn’t it more fun if we don’t know where we’re going?” she laughed a little, “So long as we don’t get completely lost, I’m alright with a bit of exploring.” They continued a short way before reaching a tall ledge. The brute pulled himself up, but Mae looked at it, unsure. It was quite a way up and she had already climbed a long way in order to get the Terrel’s resting spot. Despite having caught her breath while talking to the male, she didn’t have as much energy as when she’d begun the day. She knew she’d probably end up tired sooner rather than later, enjoying herself but still tired. Hopefully they’d find somewhere the explore that was more straight than elevated.

Backing up a couple of steps, she crouched with tense muscles as she tried to judge how far she’d need to jump to make it. The femme jumped, landing almost completely on the ledge. She scrabbled with her back legs, paws scratching against the rock as she dragged herself completely onto the surface. Once there she lay down for a couple of shaky seconds to catch her breath, before standing and shaking her pelt. “Guess I misjudged the distance,” she tried to laugh off the embarrassment, trotting back to Terrel’s side.

Mae looked over to the gap the brute had pointed out. She tilted her head, then bounded over to the cliff. Knowing better than to enter immediately, she scented the air a few times. There were no recent scents of wolves nearby, which suggested they wouldn’t encounter any bad company if they chose to continue. “It seems okay, let’s check it out,” she grinned back to the brute as she slipped into the gap. It was dark inside, the low light levels of the morning emphasising the tight, black atmosphere. She shivered, eyes wide despite being unable to see very far in front of her. The femme hesitated a moment, before remembering that Terrel was there and, feeling a little more confident, ventured forward.

OOC: Sorry it took a little longer :3 I've been a bit busy :S
