Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Her underlined eyes met with his own violet colored ones, meeting them as he smirked while she glared slightly at him for his words. She waited for a reason, much like an angry wife, her tail flicking lightly and not saying anything just giving a stern look with her mismatched eyes. She never noticed he was particually attractive. Even now as she stared at him she didn’t think he was. The only thing she really liked about him, the reason she wanted to keep him, was his personality. They were similar and could play similar games. Her brother didn’t seem to interested but he was a coward to begin with. Funny how she got along better with him though even though he was always so depressed and boring.

Whatever, she didn’t even know how she was related to the others, nor did she care. Her and Israfel were nothing like them, they both agreed on that a long time ago. Melek did not care that she did not speak it so beautifully yet. Someday she would hopefully master it just a little bit better, but just being able to understand and be understood by Anselm was boon at this moment. The mostly black pelted girl could tell she was understood, the raise of his brow as she spoke though she was hoping for a little more surprise in his features she guessed this would have to do.

She narrowed her eyes as he spoke, thankfully her learning was fairly thorough and along with her will to learn she gained some mastery over understanding everything. Having many around that spoke it helped all of the angels who chattered about as they moved around along with the body of assassins. It was easy to find people to eaves drop on. He gave his reasons or whatever, it wasn’t like she really cared that much that he called her that, it was more of the fact that she just wanted to see his reaction, it was boring, but that wasn’t all that bad. He didn’t get all worked up like Sable did which could get annoying quickly.

”Nam mihi iam non potest. Loquor bene intelligo. Didici, quia inveni potui dixi forsitan lingua euismod tuum parum fortasse voluit loqui ... ad te.”
(Well, you cannot do that to me anymore. I speak and understand it very well. I learned just because I found out I could, I asked about your silly language and perhaps... maybe a little I wanted to be able to talk to you.)

He would not be getting away now. She would have her fun today and it would be even more great now that she didn’t have to play charades with some strange blathering boy she couldn’t understand. She could tell that it made him happy that she had learned partly just to speak with him. She allowed him to move up slipping to her side and simply let a wry smile cross her maw. She was not the prettiest little girl out there but looks hardly mattered to her. No one really looked ugly or pretty, it was just were you fun or not that mattered.

Melek leaped forward jogging through the woods and quite happy that her companion was right on her heels. He would leave her side it seems and she genuinely enjoyed that. It didn’t escape her that he was a bit taller than her now and slightly more bulky, surely that meant that she could pick on even larger things than she had been looking for previously. He speaks and she lets her black ears fall back to listen, nodding once he finished.

She prided herself in being good at tracking and hunting for her fun. Always her nose found them no matter how far underground they went she would be there poised to get them as soon as they thought they were safe. They were always wrong, she would take them and rip them watch them bleed then maybe go back home and clean up. She wondered if her father knew, she doubted it. He was so busy with that other female he cheated on their mother with.

Melek worked and then heard the sudden rustling caused her head to shoot up and turn in the small creatures direction. Her good gold and black flecked eye turned running over the bushes, not speaking just reacting.

She darts around, looking as if she is going in the opposite direction, but she knows the young rabbit’s plan. Hide, not be seen, burrow. She would not let the scared little being escape her. She circled around hearing also that Anselm had drove himself after it. Perfect. It would be focused on him and try to run for the thicker cover she now bowled through like a bull moose.

The brown hare nearly ran right by her as she swung her paw out tripping it up and sending it tumbling across the ground. That should slow it down enough for her partner to grab it and so that they could start their little game.
